"What about you, Piccolo?" Krillin asked.
"I don't eat your food," Piccolo replied coldly.

He remembered Raditz.

And immediately softened his tone.

Even Piccolo learned fear.
"I'll train as well," Piccolo said.
"See you in ten months."

Krillin wiped sweat.

Broly nodded.

"But where will you train?" Master Roshi asked.
"Anywhere," Branch said.
"I'll explore and grow stronger my own way."
Roshi smiled.

"Gohan, want to come with me?" Branch asked.
"I… I don't know how to fight…" Gohan said nervously.
"I can teach you!"
"…But I want to become a scholar…"

Branch prepared to leave.
Gohan looked around.
Goku was gone.
Branch was leaving.
Everyone else was older.
