The storm had finally passed. For the first time in two days, sunlight broke through the clouds and illuminated the camping grounds.
The forest looked peaceful again. As if nature itself was pretending nothing had happened.
Unfortunately for Noah...The campsite told a completely different story.
His SUV slowly rolled to a stop near the lake.Noah stepped out.
Stretching his arms after the long drive.
"Finally."
He looked around.
Then immediately froze.
"...What the hell happened here?"
The campsite looked like a battlefield. One tent had completely collapsed.Another was half buried beneath broken branches.
Several supplies were scattered everywhere. The fire pit looked destroyed. And the chairs were nowhere to be seen.
Noah blinked.
"Did a tornado come through here?"
He slowly walked forward.
The more he looked, the worse it became.
"This is bad."
Then suddenly...
He remembered exactly who was staying here.
Rafael.
Noah's face immediately lost color.
"Oh no."
