I didn't answer immediately, I thought of what the other me had said, but should I really listen to him and use a different name? What should I tell him?
"Well Im waiting."
"My name is Folke, but I got told I shouldn't use my real name, so if anyone asks you don't know my name." I set down Rani and looked at him again.
"Who told you to not use your real name then and why would you tell me this?"
"Someone who claims to be me said I shouldn't say it to anyone and that I should use a different name."
The person in front of me looked lost in thought as he was determining if I was telling the truth or not he asked. "Have you choosen a name to get called instead of you're real name yet then?"
"I haven't choosen one yet."
He looked at me and said. "What about Nade then? And you can use my last name in the meanwhile."
"And your name is?"
He looked at me and said. "Oh right, my name is Pasha Novikov, so just use Novikov as your last name for now."
"Why are you being so nice we just met?" Nyx asked and looked at Pasha, but Pasha quickly replied. "Well me giving Folke a fake name and letting him use my last name isn't really that big of a deal and besides it's the least I could do after you 2 just helped me defeat the monsters."
I quickly looked around at the destroyed part of the city and then looked back at Pasha who was also looking around at the damage. "But why are you 2 here?"
"No idea if the word has reach here yet, but the kingdom of Fractian that I got summoned to has been invaded by a different kingdom."
"So you abandoned the kingdom you were summoned to?"
I quickly looked away with shame and then back at Pasha. "I did and I have no excuse for it except me being a coward for running away, but i hope Henry and Rani got away safely."
"Im guessing they were 2 of the 4 subordinates you choose then? Just like the women next to you?"
Nyx looked at Pasha and nodded. "We were planning on coming to the Kalmar capital to stay for some time and hopefully find a way to make money here."
Pasha looked at me and said. "You two want a job in the military?"
Pasha quickly followed up with. "Your other subordinates can have one too if they're as-"
Pasha quickly got cut off when 2 people hugged him from the left and right and cried into him. "Captain we thought you died!" The one on the right said sniffling. "Don't do this to us again captain!" The one on the left said also sniffling into Pasha.
"Im guessing they are your subordinates?"
Pasha quickly looked back at me and answered with a simple. "Yea"
"I will convince the king to give you 2 a chance to speak with him and give you a position in the military."
Pasha looked at both of the people sniffling into him and then back at me. "There is a part of the castle that is not in use that you 2 could use to stay the night at, but it's been abandoned for about 100 years."
I looked at Nyx and she nodded as if she was saying she was fine with it, I looked back at Pasha and answered. "We're fine with it, it's way better than staying outside."

We had finally arrived at the castle and Pasha led us to the part of the castle Pasha told us about, it looked abandoned, but it was better than nothing. "Sorry that this place has been cleaned in 100 years as well, but if I manage to convince the king for you 2 to join the military we can get some maids to clean this place." A knight came over and whispered something to Pasha who looked at us. "I got to go make a report about what happened." Pasha turned around, but looked back and said. "Make yourself at home." He then left with the knight.
It split into a right and a left with rooms on both sides, Nyx walked on to the left side and picked the second door, I walked to the right side and picked the first door, but before we went in I called out to Nyx. "Nyx! If anything happens just come over to me." Nyx looked at my and said. "I know and I was planning on doing it if something happened, see you tomorrow."
I quickly replied with also a. "See you tomorrow." A walked into my room and closed the door behind me, the room was not small, but it wasn't big either, it had a desk with a worn down hair and a bed in the corner.
I walked over and dusted off the bed and lied down on the bed and looked at the roof, was the reason I gave Pasha my real name just to convince me to not do what the other me wanted or did I truly want to give him my real name? I couldn't get an answer, I sat up and got out of the bed and walked over to the door and out closing the door behind me.
I muttered to myself. "I wonder if they got some kind of hair dye here."
I walked a little around the castle until I finally found Pasha. "Pasha do you have any kind of hair dye here?"
Pasha looked surprised with my question, but answered with. "Im pretty sure we do have some kind of hair dye here, follow me."
I followed Pasha until we reached the castles storage where Pasha gave me some herbs. "It's not as good as those from our world, but they'll do fine for now."
I looked down at the options, but I quickly made up my mind and began to rub the herbs to get some of the color on to my hair, and surprisingly this world's herbs was so strong that the color sticked to my hair.
After I was done I looked at Pasha and asked. "Does it look good?"
Pasha answered with. "Yea, but why did you pick that color specificlaly?"
