As I headed out of the room I quickly realised, I don't know the way out, how to find the right subordinates or did I even ask all my questions since I was so caught up in the moment.
I looked around and I decided to go to the right and pray that I find the right way out of the castle.
I continued walking which felt like forever and I eventually reached a dead end that had a single door at the end, but seeing no other door and me not wanting to ask for help I just went through the door.
Surprisingly it led outside of the castle so I decided to walk a little around the city to scout out for potential subordinates and learn a little about this new world.
I walked down the street with some citizens staring at me with a awe planted on their faces, I looked around at the shops and quickly checked if there was any money in this uniform, but there were none so I continued to walk down the street with a defeated expression.
As I walked past an alley I heard some shouting in there so I went in and decided to investigate the shouting, as I went in there I could see a woman probably a little older than me with black hair sitting on top of a guy beating her up each hit at a time to his face.
"What happened did he steal your first kiss and now you want it back?"
"None of you're business" As she said the business part she hit him once more in the face and stood up to dust herself off.
I went a little closer and looked down on the and asked. "Is it true you tried to rob her? If you admit it now the punishment will be less."
"Don't bother and just let him get away with it, he learned his lesson anyways."
"You're the new military captain aren't you? You look quite young, but I shouldn't be surprised you were summoned from another world."
"Word spreads quickly it seemed or did the people already know someone were gonna get summoned from another world."
"It's common knowledge, every kingdom summoned one after all, but I thought king Lloyd would have told you?"
"Well I shouldn't disclose this information should I know to someone who I know won't snitch, but let me ask, if I were to ask a random person if they would become my subordinate and that person was you how would you react?"
"I would be flattered, but I would ask hasn't the king already picked 4 subordinates out already or did he forget?"
"It would seem you are indecisive since you didn't give me an answer."
"Why would you pick a random person off the street and choose the to be you're subordinate?"
"Not like I know anyone else here who I could pick from, now answer my question instead of talking around it."
"Well I have no idea if I would want to join the military, what would the benefits be and if I become you're subordinate what powers would I get?"
"I have no idea I am new myself you know."
As I said that she just stared at me for a quick moment.
"I'll come with you to see the benefits I could get, but first there's one thing you need to do."
"And that would be?"
"You gotta know my name first, so Folke ask me what is my name."
"Oh yea, what's you're name young lady?"
"Drop the young lady thing and my name is Nyx Selari and you better not forget it you know if Im gonna be you're subordinate."
"I'm happy you would at least come with me and consider it."
"Well Im still going to need to find 3 more potential subordinates."
"Well I think I know a place to potentially find some more subordinates then so follow me."
As Nyx began to walk I quickly followed her even though she walks surprisingly fast, we continued until we reach a park?
"Why are we at a park, I thought you would take me to an underground bar where I would have to prove myself to the strongest guy there to become my subordinate."
"You children do have quite the imagination, I wish I was as creative as you."
"Hey!"
"But Nyx quickly cut me off and said. "It's good to find someone who actually cares about people instead of someone who just beat someone up like I did you know."
"I guess that's true so lets look around for someone who would help someone in need out without hesitation."
As me and Nyx looked around the park for quite some time we found no one who fits what I was looking for and eventually Nyx had to sit down for a small break.
"I hope when I get powers I also get a stat boost cause how are you not even sweating in that much clothes..."
"Well Im pretty sure that I am stronger than I was in my world, but I haven't had the chance to test out my strenght just yet."
I quickly looked around again to see if I could anyone who I would like as my subordinate, but I saw no one again with people again staring at me in awe.
"I was hoping we could find the other 3 potential subordinates before the say is over, but it seems like that's impossible."
"Maybe, but you could always get the king to hold a contest to see who should become a subordinate, but then again what would you test them in."
"Actually not a bad idea I might mention it to him if I can't find anymore."
As I was lost in thought I heard a voice behind me saying "Hey you prick why did you rob my friend." As I quickly turned around to see who said that I saw a fist flying towards my head and it hit me right on the nose.
