Chapter 1 - Hmmm so this is it?

A flash of light, a wisp of wind, a passing star amidst the starry sky, as it soared across the horizon a slight tremor was felt on the earthen ground, slowly a large boulder blocking a cave slowly receeded, deep dark eyes could be seen peeking from the edge of the boulder in the cave filled with curiosity regarding the outside world. A thick scent of ancient blew out of the cave and with it stepped out a young boy of 12 years old yet his eyes seemed to carry intelligence beyond their years and the silhouette of their back showing a figure that had grown tired of mortal trifles.

"Finally that stupid boulder moved!,I dont even know how long have I been stuck in that cave, sigh anyway im out now, luckily I could cultivate otherwise I would have starved to death."

Peter..... no it should be Lin he now. Having transmigrated into this world after being hit by a truck, he found himself in a cave illuminated by odd light stones. A makeshift stone bed with light fabric placed as bedsheets in one of the far corners with a short bedside table made of old wood accompanied by a shelf full of leather books yet despite their worn looking condition they were as tough as a boar's hide. After searching the place he opened a drawer by the bed with a well crafted letter clearly the material from paper which seemed oddly foreign within the cave. Upon opening it a couple of words lay bare on it as if forcing him to accept reality, "This is no longer the world you knew before, fate has brought you here, and when the time is ripe the world will open itself to you to fulfill the purpose for which you were brought. Until then familiarise yourself with the place. ;) " The letter disappeared with golden light particles as if it never existed.

Only one word came from Lin he's mouth after reading it "fuck"

After wallowing in sadness for a long while he accepted reality and decided to look around. Searching through the bookshelf he found books on geography, botany, Historical records, numerous blessed physiques, types of cultivation e.t.c

With each reading he discovered that he had transmigrated into a cultivation world.

Surprisingly, after reading a book , he could remember the contents down to the punctuation marks and ink strokes. Finding the books from another world somewhat novel he read on like a starved wife seeing their husband making sure to suck all the content on them . After a while he happened to stumble upon an odd book which had a lock with a prominent title ; One begets two, two begets three, three begets all things. Upon opening it and skimming through it, he realized it was a cultivation manual, he was ecstatic and laughed out loud like a villain; "hahahahaha finally I have it, this is just the beginning once I've learnt this I'll show the world what true suffering is, what want to enjoy tasting good food, sorry I genetically modified everyone's tastes buds sothe food tasteless . Hahahahahahaha"( sigh sounded funny in my head)

After reading through the manual several times, he realised that his laughter was in vain, the spiritual power he would cultivate through the technique possessed little to no direct attack capabilities but he had no choice since he couldn't wait to starve to death because their wasn't any food in the cave and their was no estimate time to when the cave would open. Atleast the spiritual power cultivated had strong concealment abilities. Other techniques for escape, movement, reconnaissance and cloning were present which provided some survivability. After memorising multiple acupoints for the body and analysing the meridians through which spiritual power would travel, he began to try to sense spiritual qi in the air while chanting the corresponding mantra from the cultivation manual.( one begets two.....e.t.c). After a while he started to feel faint fluctuations coming from the air, this should be spiritual power, after a while he started to use his body as a center and pull the fluctuations towards him. Upon contacting his body, a sudden change occurred and Lin he noticed he could perceive within his body and seeing the white spiritual power flowing into his body he began guiding it along the meridians to open and cleanse them according to the manual, as he became increasingly proficient he began splitting the spiritual power into more which drastically increased the speed of cleansing. After an unknown period of time, Lin he seeing the cleansing sufficient guided the spiritual power to be stored into his dantian, officially marking his entry into qi refining, he slowly opened his eyes, they shone with white starlight possessing a faint mysteriousness that seemed to blend with the world. His body seemed to become more ethereal. Feeling his body being more energetic and his senses sharper, he couldn't help but exclaim; " damn cultivation feels so good,"

A faint fart sound was released seeming to expel impurities but he paid it no mind. The smell dissipated quickly to what Lin he assumed was done by a formation to regulate airflow within the cave.

After getting familiar with his new senses and divine sense which allowed him to view within his body, he lay on the bed ready to begin his seclusion, having gone through all the books on the shelf and scoured the entire cave all that remained was to solve the food situation.

P.s(*cultivation levels are similar to other novels peak is mahayana stage, too lazy to write all that*)

He had already reached qi refining but this only allowed him to go without food for a couple of days with each realm increasing overall time without food, his goal was to reach foundation establishment where he would no longer rely on sustenance to survive but pure spiritual power would be enough. Following this he entered seclusion lying completely still, he circulated qi into his dantian while occasionally guiding it to keep cleansing his meridians, this is because when he was reading on physiques, there was one particular one that could be acquired through cleansing meridians until they were pure, this would not only increase the overall speed at which he could cultivate but also allow him to gain resistance to foreign qi invading his body or resistance to poisons as well. It also allowed one to have a slight increase in luck, its barely negligible but still a benefit.

After an unknown period of time, a large fluctuation emitted from Lin he's body yet it was stopped from leaving the cave by a formation. Lin he had officially reached foundation establishment, he started clenching and unclenching his hands feeling the power contained within, he instantly moved with his movement technique towards the cave boulder intending to break it yet the power from his fist dissipated with no effect like a leaf brushing against an earthen wall. After realising he couldnt do any damage he sighed and layed back on the bed preparing to sort through his experience in seclusion;

"I've already attained the pure meridians physiques at the qi refining fifth layer and after that my speed skyrocketed with qi flow becoming smoother with each circulation, seems like it was definitely worth it otherwise reaching foundation establishment would've taken longer. The breakthrough was also smooth almost too smooth, from the historical records a lot of people struggle with breaking through and have to find materials to do so, yet I didn't even need one, must be a benefit of having a physique..... otherwise I definitely would've been stuck and then.... hiss better not to think about it. Seems I still have to continue cultivating otherwise I'd be bored to death, just as this thought arose, a faint rumbling sound could be heard, leaping up in excitement Lin he cautiously approached the receding boulder, he peaked out only to realize it was night, he decisively concealed himself using his techniques then stepped out warily yet the anticipated attack did not come. Looking out at the dark sky illuminated by stars, he flashed out landing on the top of a tree, seeing the scenery of a canopy of trees stretching out to the horizon with the dark sky blanket in them with the twinkling of stars amidst the gaze of the bright moon, he couldn't help but admire it for a while, a slight smile appeared on Lin he's face as he said," maybe living in this world won't be so bad."
