Ren Hao's whole body went cold. A sharp, metallic taste flooded his mouth, fear or the memory of it, or the blood from his own bitten cheek. 


"I'll never let you leave me, Ren Hao." Shen Zihao reached out again, fingers trailing along his jaw with the same false gentleness as before. Then his hand closed, just slightly, just enough to press Ren Hao's chin upward, forcing his eyes to meet Shen Zihao's.
