SF Chapter 122: After the Premiere
After several rounds - and after showering, making a mess there too - the quartet finally calmed down.
Lexi was lying on top of Dani, while Mischa and Penny were on either side of him.
"Best day of my life! Life is so worth it!" Dani grinned widely.
"I don't know if you really deserve it," Mischa mocked, though her attitude said otherwise as she gently ran her fingers through his hair.
Penny snuggled closer to him. "I think our little gigolo deserves it." She gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Penny felt the most gratitude toward him. She truly saw him as her best friend - the one who had always believed in her and supported her when she needed it most.
Dani got the attention of all three. "Hey, girls… I just came up with a song in my head."
"Get Lucky," he revealed the name, making his inspiration obvious.
Lexi, who had been quieter, lifted her head and looked at him. "Sing it to us," she asked.
"Okay," he nodded. "Penny, pass me the remote. I'll put on a more electronic beat just to help."
The blonde did as asked, and a soft beat started playing in the bedroom.
Dani began to sing.

Dani began to sing in a softer, higher-pitched voice.

Penny got up slightly and danced while he continued singing, ♫♪ We're up all night to get lucky ♫♪
Mischa stared a little in disbelief. "Is it me, or is the song actually good? Even if the content is kind of perverted."
"No, I somehow feel the same," Lexi nodded in agreement.
[Lexi commentary]
"Yeah, he did it again," Lexi said. "And I liked his song again..."
"But from Mischa's remark, maybe the problem isn't me, but the song."
She wondered if maybe she liked it because she liked him. But then again, Mischa wasn't that different. So maybe the issue was still them.
[Commentary ends]
"Ha, imagine if Dani's songs actually becomes success," Penny joked. "Like his movie today. He took his middle-school jokes and made an incredible movie."
Lexi and Mischa exchanged a look. 'That's not gonna happen, right?' They were thinking the exact same thing.
"Don't jinx it, Penny," Lexi admonished.
"Hey, I'm still here," Dani complained, pinching Lexi and Mischa on the ass, receiving a jab in return.
"Dani, sing the other songs you made," Penny eagerly encouraged.
He nodded. "Okay, I actually finished some of them."
Daniel sang Locked Out of Heaven, Cake by the Ocean, and Shape of You.
The three girls stared at him.
"And most of your inspiration was doing it?" Mischa didn't know what to think anymore.
"What can I say?" He shrugged. "In fact, I even have one for our first night."
"What?!"
"Sing it!"
"Lexi!" Mischa turned to her.
Dani sang,

and he started singing in a higher pitch

But I'm pretty sure it ruled

Penny quickly looked at Mischa and Lexi. "Wow!"
"We didn't go streaking in the park," Mischa immediately defended herself. "The skinny-dipping was in the Jacuzzi, and we didn't break the law." she finished.
"Thankfully, those were the only issues," Lexi said sarcastically, as Mischa had basically just corrected things on a technicality.
Dani, now sleepy, placed one hand on each girl by his side and kissed Lexi's head. "I don't know how to say this, but thank you. Best day of my life!"
He wasn't talking only about the foursome. A whole day making memories with friends and family - and hearing people laughing out loud at his movie - was already a fulfilling day. Ending the night with three girls felt almost unfair.
The girls shifted closer to him, all of them quickly falling asleep.

The next day, each girl left one by one, making sure to be discreet - even though the chances of any photographer being around were minimal.
Dani went back to his house.
"Morning, my beautiful people," he grinned at the group already at the table: Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Rachel.
"Oh, our star is here," Chandler said sarcastically.
Rachel stepped closer. "That smile..." she leaned in toward his face, "which girl?" she tried to fish for gossip.
"My lips are sealed. I told you before - I'm a gentleman. I don't name names." He completely denied saying anything.
Joey just gave a thumbs-up, continuing his busy mission of devouring everything on the table.
"Well, there were so many beautiful girls around him last night, I'd understand if any of them put that smile on his face," Chandler remarked.
But Dani noticed he was hiding something. He was unusually in a good mood. "Huh, Chand-boy? Did you get laid?"
"What? I - uh..." he paused.
The answer came right after, as a petite woman appeared from the hallway leading to the bedrooms.
"Oh, hello, Mr. Writer," the blonde greeted, a bit shy.
"Melissa?" Dani was surprised. She was the studio's secretary and had been invited to the party - like the rest of the staff.
He quickly shrugged. "Oh, well... better with Chandler than with my brother..." he muttered. Charlie could be a mess. Chandler, not so much - especially since he'd be heading back to New York soon.
"So you are not angry?" Chandler asked.
"Not really. You two are adults, I have no problem. As for my house, as long as it's not in my bed, everything else is fine - just ask the maid to handle the cleanup afterward," Dani dismissed.
They talked about yesterday while eating what was left from Joey's attack.
[Rachel and Daniel commentary]
The two were sitting on the couch in his living room.
"So to summarize, Rachel slept with two men in my house," Daniel revealed.
Rachel immediately shoved him. "Don't put it that way!"
She clarified, "it was with his gay brother and his partner, Mitchell and Cam."
"We kind of clicked and became friends. They came here, and we kept drinking."
"We got so drunk that we ended up all sleeping together... but obviously, nothing happened," she finished.
Cam, who was nearby and overheard, chimed in. "But it totally would have, if I weren't gay."
