Chapter 214 - Chapter 214

After giving Garou a harsh "lesson" and personally handing him over to the authorities, Noah Vale returned home in a noticeably good mood.

Inside the villa, Tatsumaki was already waiting.

Something about her felt… off.

She tried to look composed, arms crossed like always, but there was a subtle tension in her posture. "You're late."

"Had to deal with someone who didn't know when to quit," Noah said lightly, a hint of amusement in his voice.

Then his expression shifted, just slightly.

"By the way," he added, "you remember what you promised, right? I gave you time alone with your sister. You said when I got back, you'd let me do as I pleased."

Tatsumaki clicked her tongue, looking away. "I know."

Her voice carried its usual arrogance, but there was no real resistance behind it. If anything, there was a strange familiarity in how she braced herself, like someone stepping into something she already understood.

A street away, Fubuki stood with her arms crossed, eyes narrowed.

She had followed her sister.

And now, she was watching.

Not directly—but through something far more intimate.

Unlike Tatsumaki, who focused on raw psychic power, Fubuki had taken a different path. She'd trained her abilities for versatility—healing, perception, support.

And somewhere along the way, she'd discovered something unusual.

A link.

Because they shared the same psychic nature—and because they were sisters—Fubuki could, within a certain range, sync her senses with Tatsumaki's.

Sight.

Sound.

Touch.

Even more subtle things.

It wasn't an ability she had ever found a real use for.

Until now.

The moment her sister entered the villa, Fubuki activated it.

And suddenly—

She could see through Tatsumaki's eyes.

Inside, Noah stepped closer.

Tatsumaki didn't back away.

"Still thinking about that fight with Saitama?" she asked, trying to shift the conversation.

Fubuki, watching through her, froze.

A fight?

S-Class Rank 2 versus Rank 3?

That was huge.

"No point worrying," Noah said with a shrug. "For me, anything counts as training. I'll get stronger either way."

Fubuki frowned.

That didn't make sense.

It sounded too casual. Too simple.

But before she could think it through—

Noah moved.

And everything derailed.

Outside, Fubuki's body went rigid.

Inside, Tatsumaki didn't look away.

And because of that—

Neither could she.

Her mind tried to shut it out.

Her body refused.

The shared senses fed her everything, whether she wanted it or not.

Shock hit first.

Then confusion.

Then something far more overwhelming.

"No—no, no, no—"

She clamped her eyes shut in the real world.

It didn't matter.

She was still seeing through Tatsumaki.

Still feeling.

Still—

Fubuki staggered, grabbing onto the wall beside her, her composure cracking for the first time.

What was happening inside that villa…

It wasn't something she had ever imagined.

Not for her sister.

Not like this.

Inside, neither Noah nor Tatsumaki noticed.

Outside, Fubuki's breathing grew uneven.

Her control slipped.

She tried to break the connection—

But the sensory flood made it hard to focus.

Every attempt faltered.

Her thoughts tangled.

Her awareness blurred.

Time stretched.

Minutes passed.

Then more.

"This is ridiculous…" she muttered under her breath, trying to steady herself. "They can't keep this up…"

Five minutes.

Ten.

Thirty.

An hour.

Her disbelief slowly gave way to something closer to despair.

"How long is this supposed to last…?"

Her legs gave out.

She sank to the floor, back against the wall, her strength draining away.

And still—

The connection held.

By the time the night finally began to fade, Fubuki was barely conscious.

Her mind felt scorched.

Her body was weak, trembling from exhaustion.

When the first light of morning crept over the horizon—

It finally ended.

The connection snapped.

Fubuki lay there, staring blankly upward, her thoughts scattered beyond repair.

"…Eight hours…"

Her voice came out hollow.

"They went for eight hours…"

She didn't move.

Didn't even try.

Whatever she had just experienced—

It wasn't something she'd be forgetting anytime soon.

Inside the villa, neither Noah nor Tatsumaki had any idea what had happened outside.

After a brief rest, Noah's phone rang.

He glanced at the screen, then picked up.

"Yeah?"

The voice on the other end was direct.

The Hero Association had made contact.

Blast—Rank 1—was finally reachable.

Noah smiled faintly.

"Good timing."

With Blast's spatial abilities, there would be no need to hold back.

Which meant—

His upcoming spar with Saitama could finally happen without limitations.
