A few days passed as Nexus opened his eyes, looking at his healed body, and he roared to remove the coagulated blood.
He then opened his chat window and looked at the daily information provided by Siliva. Nothing important had happened in the area. He also heard the information about his battle with Raymond.
Thinking of Raymond, a cold light flashed in his eyes; he took a deep breath and calmed his heart. Looking beneath his feet, he started to dig.
As he dug deeper, he entered a layer of hardened rock, coating his claws with poison. He softened the rocks and continued to dig.
Three days passed as his claw broke through another layer of rock, and a soft light entered his dark tunnel as he looked down.
Beneath this layer of rock was a massive cave, and a river passed right through the middle of it, reflecting the light from the glowing silver-white metals in the walls.
He activated his stealth as he noticed some of the rocks and metals moving. He looked at the beast; according to his talent, it was a Metal Hunter.
Looking at them devouring mentally, he understood the reason for their name; their shape were also quite varied, a mix of humanoid and beastly.
Looking at the silver blade attached to their tail, he understood that it was their greatest weapon.
His body also started to tingle as he felt the constriction of the metal energy increasing rapidly. Looking at the metal element cutting his poison element, he knew he had to fight at a disadvantage.
He looked at his newly improved stats and gained some confidence.

Although his poison will be suppressed if he uses his poison arrow for its physical quality only, he should be able to kill these beasts in one hit.
He carefully started to dig a hole big enough for him to fit, looking at the cave's ceiling. His claw latched on the ceiling of the cave as he started to crawl above the beast.
He took a proper look at the cave; it had three parts that seemed to go deeper, one in the direction of the source and exit of the river, one where the metal concentration was the highest, and the other where the poison element was highest.
If not for his talent telling him to go to the area where the metal element was the densest, he would have gone to the poison element area.
He larked there silently as he watched the metal hunters devour the metals. Time continued to pass as they seemed to receive a signal, they entered deeper into the metal-rich environment one by one.
Nexus watched silently as only three remained behind. He knew his chance had come; his mouth opened as he consumed a massive amount of mana.
[Mana -99]
A purple arrow formed; its poison concentration was very low, but the power it packed wasn't something to be looked down upon.
This was also the first time he fired the poison arrow at full force. Looking at the glowing poison arrow floating in front of him, he fired it.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Three sonic booms sounded in quick succession as the arrow disappeared from his vision. The Metal Hunter he fired the arrow at didn't even have the time to react as it hit him squarely in the chest.
Its body was made of stone, and metals crumbled on impact as the arrow shattered it into pieces and landed on the ground.
The cave shook as a hundred-meter-wide crater formed on the ground, sending rocks flying everywhere. The two metal hunters nearby also lost balance as their bodies fell toward the ground.
The limbs of the metal hunter that was killed by the arrow flew in all directions at sonic speed as one of its hands hit a metal hunter's back, shattering itself and the back.
Nexus watched the damage with a surprised expression; he didn't expect that this arrow would be so strong. Looking at the remaining alive metal hunter, he didn't waste a moment and fired another arrow.
[Mana -50]
Its speed was only half that of before, but it still managed to kill the fallen Metal hunter, and its shockwave also killed the injured Metal hunter.
In a few moments, he managed to kill three metal hunters without even suffering any injury. He noticed movement from the metal-dense area.
He knew that more Metal hunters were coming, so he didn't waste a moment as he moved toward the poison-dense area.
As he moved, he looked back. The sailing was now impaled with sharpened metal shards as intense metal energy radiated out.
He looked down to see twenty-seven metal Hunters looking at the ceiling, firing more metal shards, looking at their leader at the peak of Beast Rank. He felt a sense of danger.
The sense of danger wasn't due to an overwhelming power difference but due to the pure metal element contained in its body. The metal element had a far too suppressive effect on the poison element.
As he entered the poison-dense area, he felt his body relax. He took a deep breath as his mana started to rapidly regenerate.
He continued deeper as the concentration of the poison element in the area increased. He looked around and saw puddles of concentrated poison element.
As he continued deeper, the poison element took a physical form as green mist. The poison element was so much that even his body started to sting.
Releasing his own poison aura, he neutralized the effect of the poison as he continued deeper. The cave walls started to narrow as he had to dig a way ahead.
He then saw an opening at a distance, and a look of joy appeared on his face as he continued deeper. Just as he took another step, his body froze.
A primordial fear welled up in his heart; his beastly instinct was screaming danger as he seemed to sense his own death.
He followed his beastly instinct as he didn't dare linger; he ran with full force, and he only stopped when he reached the place where the poison concentration was the least.
