In the afternoon, Quash finally left Gabriella's house for now. If he needed to get things done, he couldn't just be with her all the time. They had their whole lives ahead of them.
There was plenty of time. Right now, he was going to the Skill Tree Orb Hall. The public one, since he hadn't been admitted to an academy yet and couldn't use theirs.
Quash noticed that there were far fewer people than yesterday. The Academy City was completely closed, and now only students remained. A strange kind of excitement started welling up inside him. A small smile involuntarily formed on his face.
He quickly made his way to the Skill Tree Orb Hall. There weren't many students in that area now, so he was able to get in quickly. Quash entered a room which had an intricate formation literally carved into the ground.
It was so complex that it looked like ancient Mayan civilization wall engravings to him.
