Just as Hitmonlee and Primeape were clashing again, Team Rocket's Meowth secretly crawled beneath the ring, planning to cause trouble. However, just as he was preparing to plant his device, Pikachu tapped him on the shoulder.
"Who is it? Yikes, Pikachu!"
Pikachu gave Meowth a smile, and then: "Pika-CHUUU!!!"

And while Jessie and James were screaming in agony, Hitmonlee launched a High Jump Kick at Primeape. Ash, meanwhile, shouted:
"Go, Primeape! Supreme Shoryuken!!!"
"Roar!!!" With Primeape's roar, it gathered all its strength, leaped up, and unleashed the ultimate move it had created with Ash. Accompanied by the phantom of a divine dragon soaring into the sky, Hitmonlee crashed heavily onto the ring, unable to get back up.
"Hitmonlee is unable to battle! The winner of this match is Primeape! That Supreme Shoryuken just now was so cool!"
Seeing Primeape advance to the finals, Misty cheered excitedly, "That's awesome!"
Suzie, holding Vulpix beside Misty, also added, "Primeape's move really succeeded!"

After the match, Ash and Primeape helped Hitmonlee up together. Hitmonlee smiled and said, "Hitmon Hitmon!" (That move just now was beautiful!)
