To be honest, Ash actually quite admired the Team Rocket trio's ability to cause trouble; they always managed to show up right at the most critical juncture.
Hearing the laughter, Erika couldn't help but ask, "Who are you people?"
As soon as Erika asked, Ash silently pulled out his Luxury Ball.
"Since you asked with such sincerity~"
"Then we will mercifully answer you!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all peoples within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"I am Jessie!"
"And I'm James!"
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth, that's right!"
Just as Meowth was holding what looked like a detonator button and was preparing to press it, Ash, who had been ready from the sidelines, acted.
"Kirlia, Disable!"
"Kirli!"
Accompanied by a glowing light radiating from Kirlia's body, Meowth and the other two instantly froze rigidly in place.
James: "Gah! I can't move!"
Jessie: "You don't need to tell me, I already know that!"
Meowth: "What do we do, meow?!"
Ash slowly walked toward Team Rocket and then tossed out his Luxury Ball. Primeape appeared calmly on the battlefield, staring quietly at Team Rocket.
"Primeape, sometimes, venting an appropriate amount is good for your mental health. So go for it, Primeape! Use the 'Ora Ora' I taught you!"
"Roar, roar, roar! Roar, roar, roar!!!!"
The power of the Ripple that Ash had taught it surged through its body. Primeape's eyes instantly turned fierce, and it began throwing a frantic barrage of punches at a speed that the naked eye couldn't even follow.
Just as Ash had said... the exhilarating feeling of brutally pummeling an opponent made Primeape feel increasingly refreshed. Its strikes became smoother and smoother, to the point where Primeape reached a state of complete self-forgetfulness in its punching. Meanwhile, Kirlia worked hard, using both Disable and Confusion to ensure the Team Rocket trio wouldn't be blasted away by the impacts.
"Keep it up, Kirlia, this is also a form of training."
"Kirli!"
Kirlia nodded, and Ash smiled and held her hand. Being held by Ash, Kirlia was instantly filled with power, and her psychic energy stabilized even further.
Once Primeape had finally punched to its heart's content, it cheerfully wiped the sweat from its forehead.
"How was that, Primeape? Feel better?"
"Roar." Primeape nodded happily, indicating it felt much better.
"Very well, then for the final move, Sky Uppercut! Kirlia, release the bind!"
"Roar!"
"Kirli!"
BOOM!
With a singular Sky Uppercut from Primeape landing on the three of them, the Team Rocket, already beaten black and blue, launched straight into the sky.
James: "That's too much! To think you'd launch a sneak attack!"
Meowth: "Who's the real bad guy here, meow?!"
Jessie, whose face was equally bruised and swollen, held up a vial of liquid and said, "But at least we achieved our goal! We're taking this secret perfume formula with us!"
"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again~~ Ouch!"
Watching the three stooges fly off into the distance, Ash couldn't help but let out a wicked smile. Erika, acting as if she had known all along, suppressed a laugh and said, "Looks like you did that on purpose?"
"That's right. I hope they like it."
"Hehehe. You're so mean."
At that moment, Misty ran over and said, "What do we do?! Miss Erika's secret formula was stolen!"
Looking at an anxious Misty, Ash and Erika exchanged a glance and then completely failed to hold back their laughter.
"Hahahaha!" x2
"Hahaha, I can't. Misty, your question is going to make me laugh for a long time."
"Hahaha, I'm sorry. But really, hahaha!"
Seeing Ash and Erika acting like this, Misty was confused.
"What's wrong?"
Ash smiled and said, "Misty, do you know? You should never underestimate those of us who work with potions and perfumes."
Erika added, "Because you never know what our raw materials are. And what they stole..."
Ash and Erika exchanged a glance and, barely containing their laughter, said in unison, "...was Gloom's concentrated extract! Hahahahaha!"
