Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, a looming threat was gathering.
Seven powerful Zodiac Fragment Vessels moved from place to place, hunting other Fragment Vessels.
They drew their power from Leo, the top-ranked Zodiac.
Their goal: to hunt down Fragment Vessels that held the power of other Zodiacs.
This group was called Ignivarca.
Their primary objective was to gather even more power in order to unseal the Zodiac, Leo.
Almost all of the Zodiac Fragments had already been absorbed by them, and the vessels had been destroyed.
Now, their attention was fixed on Japan, sensing beings with extraordinary mana.
Each member of Ignivarca was even stronger than Luna, who was considered one of the most powerful Fragment Vessels.
The scene shifted back to Luna, Lucy, and Ken.
They were in the same room, talking quietly.
Lucy created a Barrier so that no one outside could hear their conversation.
"Each Fragment Vessel comes from the power of a Zodiac. The ones we faced earlier use Ice Magic and created Ice Magic Swords, so their power probably comes from Aquarius," Luna explained.
"The first enemy we faced, the one who emitted white light… their power came from Virgo," Luna added.
Suddenly, Crescent appeared.
"You are correct, Master," Crescent praised.
"Since there are twelve types of Zodiac Fragments—because twelve Zodiacs were sealed—there is a chance that they will hunt down other Fragment Vessels to absorb their power," Crescent continued.
"That means each Fragment Vessel could potentially fight one another to drain the power of others, since their main objective is simply to unseal the Zodiac that owns their power," he added.
"Therefore, we must prepare for future enemies. There is a possibility that some could be a hundred times stronger than the ones we just faced," Luna said.
The two of them immediately grew serious and nodded in agreement.
Luna looked at them both.
"By the way… just call me 'Big Sis.' It feels more fitting than 'Aunt,' since I'm only four years older than you," Luna said with a warm smile.
Ken and Lucy laughed.
"Yes, Big Sis Luna," they said in unison.
"Alright… let's return to our rooms. You still have school tomorrow, don't you?" Luna asked.
"Sigh… yes," they replied, sounding reluctant.
