The next morning…
Luna had regained consciousness, but it was obvious she was still weak.
"Auntie… do you know any healing magic spell? I can use it to help you," Lucy said, worry etched across her face.
"No healing magic can fix my condition, because there's nothing physically wrong with me," Luna replied, her voice calm. "But I appreciate your concern."
"How can we help you then, Auntie?" Ken asked.
"Since my power was absorbed, I need to rest for two weeks to replenish it," Luna explained.
"But… don't Zodiac Fragments have the ability to absorb mana? Can't we give you our mana to help you recover?" Lucy suggested.
"I… I'm also willing to give some of my power to you, Auntie," Ken added.
"I'm afraid of what might happen to you both if I do that, so it's fine," Luna said with a faint smile.
"Please, Auntie… I can't wait for two weeks just to train with you," Ken insisted.
"What if stronger Zodiac Fragments attack again? Who would protect you—and ourselves?" Lucy added, concern in her voice.
"Alright… but I'll only take a little, just enough to regain some strength," Luna said.
The two nodded in agreement.
Luna gently placed her hands on Ken's and Lucy's heads to draw a small amount of their energy. She whispered a spell capable of absorbing mana:
"Lumen Devouris."
Almost instantly, Luna's mana reserves were replenished—but far beyond what she had expected.
Her mana capacity had upgraded, creating an expansive space capable of holding over a thousand times more mana than before.
For a moment, Luna lost control of her own body as she continued absorbing mana from both Lucy and Ken. Gradually, she regained herself.
She could feel an overwhelming power coursing through her, nearly infinite, yet she worried about draining the two of their energies.
But to her surprise, neither Lucy nor Ken was affected—the vast power she had drawn had no negative impact on them, and it continued to surge within her.
At that moment, Luna realized she could not determine the limits of their power. It was undeniable: both Ken and Lucy were extraordinarily powerful, stronger than anyone she had ever encountered.
She decided it was time to share some of her knowledge of magic with them.
"Are you alright now?" Lucy asked.
"Yes… I've regained my strength. Thank you," Luna replied.
"By the way," Luna continued, "tomorrow, Ken, you need to say goodbye to your parents and grandmother. After that, we have somewhere to go, and it may take a few days."
"Understood, Auntie," Ken said, excitement brightening his expression.
The next morning, the three of them said their goodbyes and left.
"Auntie, where are we going?" Lucy asked curiously.
"We're heading to the secret library to study magic spells," Luna answered.
Ken could hardly contain his excitement upon hearing this.
"But why are we walking?" Lucy asked.
"So no one notices us. We need to reach a secluded area to open a portal," Luna explained.
After a short while, they found a remote location, and Luna cast her spell:
"Bibliotheca Arcanum Aperio!"
A crack appeared in the air before them, forming a shimmering portal.
One by one, they stepped through.
Once inside, they wandered around in awe.
"Are there any other beings or people who come here?" Ken asked.
"No. Although this is Earth in another dimension, it is very different from the Earth we know," Luna explained. "The secret library floats in the sky, and no one can access it except those with divine-level power."
"Because a Zodiac Fragments Vessel possesses the power of the very Zodiacs themselves, I was able to access this place," Luna continued.
Meanwhile, the secret library seemed to expand infinitely around them.
As they reached the area they sought, books began to float toward them—books of magic spells.
They sat down to read. Every type of spell and magical knowledge was contained within these tomes.
Yet one book remained locked, as though it required a key—an ancient tome containing the oldest spells and secrets of magic.
Unable to open it, they began exploring the other books one by one.
Each contained not only spells but detailed information about the amount of power each spell consumed.
The three of them studied various magics, each aligned with their own innate magical nature.
As Luna chanted a spell while trying out some of the magic they had been reading, they suddenly noticed something—
The thick, old book containing ancient magic began to move.
