Prologue: The Birth of the Zodiacs
Long ago,
A light emerged in a void of nothingness — a vast emptiness with no laws of physics, no matter to see, and no concept of time.
This light took human form, and in an instant, it created the entire multiverse.
This light was named Aetherion.
It had no physical body, existing as pure radiant energy.
Within one of the universes it created, Aetherion noticed something peculiar. Unlike the other vast universes, this one contained only a single planet: Earth. Its star was small, and it was surrounded by two moons.
Aetherion observed life beginning to flourish on this planet. To maintain order, it created 13 powerful beings to govern the 13 continents that appeared across this world.
These beings were known as the 13 Zodiacs.
The 13 Zodiacs were given names and ranked according to the strength of their powers, for each had been created differently by Aetherion.

The Fall and Rebirth of Power
Due to a great war, new powers were born:
Emelyra Scarlet – Rank 2 Zodiac who ate the forbidden Divine Fruit from the Tree of Adam. She lost her immortality but became the Goddess of Light, multiplying her light magic a hundredfold. This allowed her to seal the bodies of the Zodiacs, halving their powers, while sacrificing her own lifespan to defeat the God of Darkness.
Kuruzen Renji – A mortal who, in a fit of rage, absorbed powerful black magic from the cosmos, born of the negative emotions of the sealed Zodiacs. Unable to control it, he became the God of Darkness, whose sole purpose is destruction.
