Chapter 65 - 65

65: Chapter 65 Takeoff! The Immortal BuggyA gentle sea breeze caressed the small boat, causing it to sway slightly on the surface of the water.

After drifting for an unknown amount of time, Luffy collapsed in the cramped cabin, clutching his rumbling stomach and complaining in pain:

"Ahhhhhh!I'm so hungry!"

Zoro leaned against the side of the boat with his arms crossed, looking at him speechlessly: "So, our way of adventure is just drifting."

Just then, a loud and sharp bird cry came from high in the sky!

Luffy instantly perked up, sprang to his feet, pointed at the enormous black shadow swirling in the sky, his eyes gleaming:

"Hey!Zoro!Look!It's a bird!A huge bird!Let's eat it!"

Zoro looked up and saw the bird flying extremely high, almost a tiny black dot.His lips twitched."How do you eat it?Do you have wings?"

"Leave it to me!"

Luffy patted his chest triumphantly, then stretched his legs back sharply, the elasticity of the rubber harnessing immense power."Gum-Gum Rocket—!"

"Whoosh—!"

Luffy shot into the sky like a rocket! His speed was so great that the strong wind he generated even tilted the sails of the small boat!

Zoro watched Luffy disappear into the horizon in an instant, and suddenly realized: "I see."

However, Luffy's excited and joyful laughter soon echoed from high above:

"Hahahaha—!Charge—!"

Zoro squinted and strained to see, only to see that Luffy hadn't attacked the large bird, but had instead landed precisely on its back!

He tightly hugged the bird's thick neck with both hands, squeezed his legs together, and rode on the bird's back like a horse!

The large bird was clearly frightened. It let out a panicked cry and began to struggle, flying away into the distance at an even faster speed!

"Hey—!You bastard—!"

Zoro instantly understood Luffy's intention, his expression changed drastically, and he roared at the sky, "Don't leave me behind—!"

He hurriedly grabbed the oar and began paddling frantically, trying to catch up with the giant bird that was flying further and further away!

The small boat moved with difficulty on the sea.

But it just so happened at this moment.

"Stop! That ship over there!Stop right now—!"

A panicked cry for help came from the sea ahead!

Beside a tattered wooden barrel, three disheveled men were frantically waving and shouting at Zoro's small boat!

Zoro was extremely anxious at the moment, and had no time to care about the victims.

Without turning his head, he rowed even harder, yelling angrily, "Of all times, there have to be people in distress? We can't stop now!Figure out yourselves how to climb aboard—!" The small boat continued its speeding straight towards the three people!

"Whoaaaaaahh .

"Bang!"

The wooden barrel was smashed to pieces by Zoro's small boat!

The three drenched men thrashed about in the icy water for a while before finally managing to grab onto the gunwale of Zoro's small boat and climb aboard, shivering.

"Huff.huff.I was so scared."

A man wearing a tattered tricorn hat lay slumped on the boat, panting heavily with lingering fear.

"You.you want to run us over?" another man in a floral shirt with a scar on his face roared angrily at Zoro.

Zoro continued paddling, turning his head with an annoyed expression, his cold gaze sweeping over the three soaking, disheveled uninvited guests: "Hmph, so noisy. Can't you see I'm busy?"

The three men trembled at Zoro's cold gaze and the three menacing swords at his waist.

But then I felt that Zoro looked like a lone fat sheep, and besides, it was three against one, so the advantage was in my hands!

They exchanged a glance, their faces instantly transforming into fierce and arrogant expressions.

The man in the floral shirt suddenly drew a dagger from his waist, while the man in the tricorn hat and another tall, thin man pulled out rusty machetes, pointed them at Zoro, and sneered, "Hey!Kid!Be smart!Stop the ship! This ship is ours now!"

"We are ruthless pirates! If you dare to resist."

"Hehe, I'll throw you into the sea to feed the fish!"

Zoro stopped rowing.

He slowly stood up, his tall figure casting an oppressive shadow on the small boat.

He looked down at the three reckless fools, a dangerous smile playing on his lips, his eyes like those of a predator eyeing its prey: ".Oh?A robbery?"

All that could be heard was a loud "bang!"

"Ouch!"

"Thump!"

"My teeth!"

"Smack!"

"Have mercy, sir!"

Accompanied by several dull thuds, screams, and splashes, just seconds later, the three men who had been so fierce just moments before were now bruised and battered, covered in bumps, huddled at the bow of the boat like three frightened quails.

They took Zoro's place, paddling frantically with long faces and bowed low, while cautiously forcing a smile:

"Hey.hehe.Grandpa.let's row!Let's row!"

"We.we didn't even realize.you're the famous pirate hunter.Zoro!"

The man in the tricorn hat said in a tearful voice, "He really didn't recognize a great man!He deserves to die!He deserves to die!"

Zoro sat on the stern of the ship, arms crossed, looking annoyed. He stared at the sky where Luffy had long since disappeared, feeling a vein throbbing in his temple: "It's all your fault, you idiots.you made me lose track of my crewmate."

He gave the three "temporary laborers" who were rowing hard a cold glance, his tone stern: "Anyway.row as hard as you can!If you dare to slack off."

"Yes, yes, yes!Absolutely not, sir!" The three men trembled in fright and rowed even faster, their movements leaving afterimages.

Looking at the vast sky and sea where Luffy was nowhere to be seen, Zoro sighed helplessly, secretly thinking to himself.think:

"That idiot.if he can find land.he should be able to support himself, right?Probably." He had a strange confidence in his captain's survival skills.

Just then, the three laborers started whispering to each other as they rowed the boat.Although they kept their voices very low, Zoro still managed to catch them.

"Big brother.what should we do?" The man in the floral shirt cried.

"Yes.our treasure and our ship.were all stolen by a little girl!" The tall, thin man also looked desperate.

"If.if Captain Bucky finds out.we're doomed." The man in the tricorn hat's voice trembled.

Zoro's ears twitched, and he raised an eyebrow, asking casually, "Hey, who's this 'Buggy' you guys are talking about."

Upon hearing this, the three turned to look at Zoro in surprise, as if they preferred to believe they had misheard, only to see Zoro's naturally questioning gaze.
