It wasn't me who arrived first.
Taka was already there.
"Finally! Another discipline student equals me!" He raised his fist up in the air.
Wait, I don't think in the game Taka arrives this early. Was it because of the butterfly effect due to my existence, or was it because Makoto was late in the game, so I couldn't see who came earlier?
It wasn't long until the other characters showed up. They are all filled with uneasy feelings.
"It does look like a normal entrance ceremony," Makoto said as he walked inside.
"See? Told ya! It's totally normal entrance ceremony stuff." Yasuhiro said thoughtfully.
Before we extend our conversation further, Monokuma arrived on time. He stands on the podium.
"Huh, a- a teddy bear?!" I shouted, try to copy and follow the shock of others.
"I am Monokuma! And i am your school's headmaster!" He announced. Hifumi look displeased seeing a teddy bear can talk.
"Are you Brian Beacock?" I asked him.
"Huh? I don't know what you mean." Monokuma looks confused, scratching his head.
"Calm down, guys, it's just a speaker inside the teddy bear." Taka tries to reduce the intensity of the gymnasium room.
"My techs are far more advanced than Nasa! How dare you comparing me with a toy. I couldn't bear it!" He seems angry as he raises both his hands.
"Bear? Oh, suck unfortunate." Celeste covered her mouth. What a great joke.
"Everyone bow! Good morning!" Monokua ordered us.
"Good morning!" Taka replied in fire spirit.
"I don't think we have to say it back..." Toko plays with her fingers and turns her head shyly.
"It's back!" I joked. Trying to copy Celeste.
"Anyway, students! I just want to say that you'll live a communal life here, forever! Except for those who graduate!" Monokuma and I smiled; others didn't.
"And to graduate, you must kill someone without others knowing." He lowered his voice dramatically.
"What?!" The students gasped in shock. Their unrest grew more intense.
"Shut up, asshole! This must be a joke!" Mondo clenched his fist.
"Joke? Like your hair?" Mondo looks frustrated. He roared and ran to Monokuma. Then he raised the teddy bear in the air, trying to intimidate Monokuma.
Instead of resisting, Monokuma only warned Mondo that harassing the school's headmaster is a violation, as the timer starts to click.
"Huh? Stop beeping and say something!" Mondo is kind of in a rage, tense with wrath.
I quickly take Monokuma, run to a far place of the students, and come back to their place.
"What are you doing?!" Mondo is interrogating me in a not very polite way.
"Hold on, Mondo. I think he's right." Kyoko tries to calm Mondo.
And like I expected.
Boom!
Monokuma exploded.
Other students seem in a deep shock after the explosion. Their protests can be heard like the buzz of bees.
"That's it! No more protests! I am not your everyday school's headmaster! Now receive this indestructible gift of mine!" He shut the masses, including Mondo, who was terrified. He's gone after all of us, receiving the students' e-handbook.
The students start buzzing again.
I walk slowly and gently to Sayaka.
"Miss Sayaka." She still looks terrified, but she raised her head as I called her.
"Yes?"
"I want to talk seriously. You are one of the idols, right?" She nodded.
"Great. Now, what I advise you to do, if one day Monokuma shows a picture of your friends in a not very good shape, like wounded or something. Trust me, it is not a lie." Her face looks offended. Of course, she would be offended.
"What I am saying is, don't be too surprised. It's real. Something happened with your idol group. So when the time arrives, I suggest that by telling you earlier, you can at least reduce your shock." My mouth shuts when I reach the end of my sentence. Then I waved goodbye to her and the following students to roam the school with my team.
I smiled as I went to the dormitory. Hoping that by making Sayaka and Makoto more intimate and closer, that would create a butterfly effect that would erase the factors that would make Sayaka betray Makoto in the coming future.

I arrived at my bedroom. But a thought came ot my head.
"Wait, if the canonical plot there were only sixteen students, how could I get my own bedroom?" I almost think deeply. Trying to be more focused on settling here.
After all, this place is better than my civilian camp in my destroyed hometown. More food resources, water, electricity, and no threat from the Western troops.
I open my door and try taking a peek at the hallway. Sayaka and Makoto were going to the dining hall; I should not disrupt them.
I walk slowly and stealthily behind them. And when they got to the dining hall, I stopped without going in.
I peeked inside, they were chatting for like several minutes ike any normal romance pre-couple would chat.
"Hello Abu!" Taka called me, I nodded and greeted him. But as he tries to enter the dining room, I pull and prevent him.
"A- Abu! Stop it!" Taka is forcing his way in.
"Shut your mouth up! This is getting interesting, look at them." I point my finger at both Sayaka and Makoto.
As others arrived, they grew curious when they saw Taka and me spying instead of going inside. Most of them stopped to watch whatever was happening.
"Hey, what are you guys doing?" A cold voice called us. Others turned their head and found Byakuya walking inside the room.
"Stop it, Byakuya! You can't just destroy the moment!" Toko warned him, a bit shy, a bit crazy. I guess she really likes exploring romance inspiration or is it just her having a crush on him and wanted to talk to him?
"This is utter nonsense. We are in a position that endangers our lives, and you guys are minding romantic business?" He laughed sarcastically, ignoring our holds as he rushed inside.
Our excitement comes to an end, and we follow him.
After it, Sayaka comes to us asking for information.
"So, what did your group find?" She asked me.
"Me, Hina, Sakura, Mondo, we found no way to the outer world. Also, it seems that even with Mondo or Sakura trying to force some places open, they just are not strong enough to do so." Sayak nodded, and she was about to ask others.
"Sayaka, tell Makoto too, okay? After all, you're his assistant." I told her before she's gone.
"Eh?" She's kinda surprised, so I'm thinking how to explain my knowledge about that.
"I'm a psychic after all. Kidding, now go. Don't forget to demand that Kyoko show her map." Her face looked even more confused; it looked funny, to be honest. But she focused instead on interrogating others. I suddenly felt a really fucking intense gaze, but as I turned around, I saw no one staring at me.
Ah. It was Kyoko. Her expression is unreadable, especially if she throws her gaze in another direction. Such a strange girl.

My bedroom has a strange feeling. Actually, I had been feeling this unease since the start of being in the bedroom. I was just so careless before.
I guess I shall go to the bathroom to check my physical condition. I try to open the door.
"Huh? It's locked?" I questioned, not myself, but the camera that should have heard my loud shout.
"Or did I get my room also have a fucking relation with an unmatched doorframe?" I scratch my head, trying to do any tricks to open the door.
"Bzzt! Wrong!"
"Holy crap!" I stepped backwards as Monokuma suddenly summoned.
"In point of fact, I acknowledge that your room is a woman's bedroom! Didn't we tell you earlier?" He stated. I frozen.
I see. So my room is the room of either the real Junko or the fake Junko. I nodded.
"Didn't you see the notice? What, can't you read? The bathrooms in the boys' rooms don't have sewing kits!" He shouted. I quickly ran to check and found that my tool is a sewing kit.
"Here, the key to the bathroom." Monokuma gave me.
"I gotta go to teach Makoto how to fix his doorframe." And just like that, he's gone.
After I wash my face, Monokuma finally declares nighttime.
I rest in the bed. The coziness is making me feel like in heaven.
"No Western missiles after all." I close my eyes. Waiting for tomorrow to arrive. Excited. Or was I just pretending not to be terrified? After all, I think I was underreacting to the events that happened. I got my adoptive family died second after a missile or drone attack, then I died. Not into hell, not into heaven either. So am I really excited, or was it coping? I don't know. What I know is that I have to be fit every hour, mentally and physically, to survive.
