"You want to do what now?" Felicity's father, King Arnold, asked as he raised an eyebrow in question.
"I want to go to Lady Lily's tea party," I repeated, eyes sweeping around the room in astonishment. His office was huge!!!
"And why would you want to do that? Last I heard, you said and I quote, 'there is no need to socialize with other people. I'm too young to get a headache.'" King Arnold narrowed his eyes in suspicion.
Now why would Felicity not want to socialize? Isn't it fun to have more friends? Maybe it's because we're polar opposites or something? That would explain why I'm in her body in the first place. Opposites attract maybe?
I smiled, coming up with an excuse immediately. "Things change, father. The past is in the past. I want to socialize now."
King Arnold stared at me with narrowed eyes for a few seconds before he finally let out a sigh and nodded his head. "Alright, alright. Bring Diana with you, in case you would need any assistance."
I grinned before walking up to his side. "Thanks, father!" I hugged him before running off.
"Make sure to watch where you're going, troublemaker!" He yelled after me.
I laughed, barely registering what he said. That was until I bumped into someone, lost my balance, then fell down with an "oof".
I hissed at the sudden impact.
"Watch where you're-" I stopped, staring up in silence at the timid-looking little girl who stared down at me with big doe eyes as though she was about to burst into tears.
"I- I'm sorry," she stammered. I let out a breath, that I didn't even know I was holding, before standing up to smile.
"It's okay. It's not your fault. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings."
"O- oh..." Aww, what a poor little thing. So timid-looking.
"Anyways, hi! I'm Felicity. What's your name?" I grinned as I extended my hand out to her.
I don't really know the people around me much, apart from Felicity's father. Apparently, this body's original owner didn't seem to really care much about others to the point that she didn't even bother familiarizing herself with other people. That's why her memories only consist of her daily boring activities, her father, her mother, and her personal maid, Diana.
The little girl blinked as she stared down at my hand. "... Felicity?" She whispered almost to herself.
I tilted my head. "Yeah? That's right. I'm Felicity. Felicity Amythist?"
Suddenly, within the blink of an eye, her small delicate face immediately caught fire and she looked away, flustered.
"Are you okay...?" Dumb question. Does she look okay to you?
"I- I'm fine, Princess Felicity! Umm... Hi?" She squeaked before bowing like a scared little rabbit.
Her cheeks caught an even deeper shade of red. "I- I'm sorry. I must look very silly right now," she murmured sheepishly.
"No, you don't. Well, kind of. But that's not the point. I think you look cute. Yes, maybe a little silly but in a good way!"
She looked up slightly, cheeks still tinted pink. "R- really?"
"Yep!" I grinned.
"Let's try again. Hi, I'm Felicity Amythist. And you are?" I grinned.
She bit her lip, slightly hesitating. "Hello, Princess Felicity. My name is Emily Deutsch."
"You have a lovely name, Emily." She blushed, looking away in embarrassment.
"Th- thank you, Princess..."
"Call me Felicity. Or Felice, maybe? I like that nickname."
Her eyes widened and she immediately shook her hands in front of her face in a panic. "Isn't that improper? I could never!"
"We're friends now, aren't we? Call me Felice and I'll call you Emi. Then we're even."
I smirked to myself when I saw her considering it. Then she sighed. "Alright. Felice it is then," she pouted slightly.
My grin widened and I immediately stepped up to hook my arm around her own. "So then, Emi, what are you doing in the castle and what would you like to eat?"
After that, I spent the entire day getting to know Emily more. We had a great time talking and exploring the castle. She was apparently the daughter of the Head Maid!

"You look absolutely gorgeous, My Lady," Diana complimented, proudly smiling down at me.
Today, I wore a beautiful retro ball gown which was sweetheart pink in color and my hair tied up into a princess bun.
"You've said that for the hundredth time already, Diana!" I laughed as she leaned in to fix my hair yet again.
"But of course! I must make sure that you are perfectly informed of how beautiful you are! What else could be expected from the Crown Princess?" She huffed before grabbing my wrist. "Come now, we mustn't be late. I've heard how awful of a temper that Lady Lily has."
I laughed, letting her drag me into Lily's Manor. Although, I'm pretty sure that Lily wouldn't mind if I were late. What could a low ranking noble's daughter do to the Crown Princess anyways?

Sometimes I wonder whether I'm just dense or completely and utterly stupid. Judging from how furious Lily is looking at me right now, I might just think it's the latter. And here I thought she wouldn't even dream about harming me. I expected too much...
