After a few minutes of waiting Mellisa finally brought a cup of warm coffee for the girl to drink on, so she could relax a little.
"Here this should help you unwind some of your worries, and when you ready to tell us what happened just let us know. We will be patiently waiting for you." Mellisa said as she gave the girl the cup of coffee before giving the girl space and joined us on the other side of the couch.
After Mellisa gave her the cup of coffee the girl drank it and after about a few minutes of waiting she finally calmed down a bit.
"So can you tell me your name." Aiden asked her since when someone is afraid you shouldn't jump into asking why they are like that first you need to make them feel comfortable.
"My....name is...Seina." The girl replied trying to show that she is calm though she couldn't hide the tremble in her voice.
"Seina beautiful name, so can you tell me what happened to you .... after all you totally covered in blood." Aiden asked as he looked at the two women behind him before looking back at Seina.
Seina looked at him through her teary black eyes before they widened in horror as she looked behind him well specifically at the glass windows that shows the back yard.
Aiden seeing this frowned before looking at what got her so frightened only to freeze in horror.
What was beyond the window was a big red eye with a black sclera that was staring at Seina well not at her, it only looked at her briefly before staring at Aiden and Mellisa and when it did it's eyes shone brightly before the house shook.
"RUN!" Aiden shouted as he grabbed his sister and Britney before Britney grabbed the frightened girl and allowed herself to be dragged.
"HEY AIDEN WHAT'S GOTTEN INTO YOU AND WHAT'S WITH THE EARTHQUAKE."Mellisa shouted as she followed Aiden as he kicked the door open and ran away and saw many houses in flames as many monsters killed people left and right only for those dead people to get up with glowing black mist covering their bodies, as many scales took form in their bodies and some of them even turned to blackwater like creatures with a human face on them.
"What in the world is this." Britney asked as she looked at the different monsters infront of them. Some of these monster's looked human but with black scales all over their bodies with horns on their eyes. Some turned to tiger like creatures with many spikes on their back with their claws radiating black mist that looked like it's bending space.
The tiger like creature turned its head and looked at the four humans who were staring at it in pure horror, before it fully turned its body toward them and launched an attack on the black head boy and the girl.
Aiden seeing that the monster was targeting him and his sister instantly kicked Britney to the side before he grabbed his sister in a bridal carry and dodged the attack.
"Brit, Sei...." As he was about to tell them to flee an orange circle appeared beneath Britney and Seinas feat and glowed before they instantly vanished from where they were.
"Aiden what just happened." Mellisa asked Aiden as she wrapped her arms around his neck for support.
"I.... don't know." He said before looking at the monsters that are beginning to surround them before he rose up and sprinted at an opening he saw, monsters missed him as he passed through the hollow gap they left as he protected his little sister by hugging her head as he ran with many monsters on his back.
"But we don't have time to figure that out we need to get out of here." Aiden shouted as he ran as fast as he could turning on narrow alleyways all in hope to lose these things chasing him.
"Okay big brother." Mellisa said as she looked behind his brother and saw many monsters tailing behind them which made her frown.
As minutes went by without pause Aiden starred to pant as most of his energy is beginning to were down from constant running, and his eyes are slowly turning heavy as if they are trying to pull him to sleep.
"Damn.... panting ....The pills.... are finally wearing out....why now of all times." He said as his speed was reduced and looked at his sister who was soundly asleep on his arms and slept so peacefully as if they weren't being chased by man eating monsters.
But seing her sleeping peacefully like this made him try harder to outrun these things using anything he can to do so.
As he ran he kept kicking trash bins so they could trip on them but as expected those things just ran past them as if those bins were papers.
He kept running as he felt his eyes getting heavy and heavy as the side effects of eating those pills started to take side effects.
"Come on please.... just.... a little more." He said praying for strength so he could get away with his little sister but it seemed as if the entire world hated them because as soon as he began praying a piercing pain shot through his chest near his heart not directly near.
As he quickly stumbled and fell and his little sister who he was so carrying was thrown five feet away.
"Cough.... cough... what's was that." He said as he looked at his chest and saw a blade made out of black and red mist peeking put of his chest.
"Seriously, such useless trash can't even catch two powerless humans." Said a female voice as it slowly approached him before it grabbed the blades hilt and pulled out of him.
"Aaahhhh---" He screamed in pain as the blade was forcefully pulled out before his mouth was fed a black battle boot with red ribbons where lace is and the boot was fully closed.
"Argh... you to loud." She said before she looked at him through her golden eyes. Her face and figure were hidden by black and red mist so he couldn't tell who it was but the voice made it easier to tell it belonged to a women.
"Hmm? Atleast you aren't useless your soul is strong along with that girls." She said before she pulled her boot out of his mouth and slowly walked to his little sister.
