Chapter 56 - Chapter 53: Info Dump

Chapter 53: Info Dump

Ron sat on the deck, gently massaging Gloriosa's head as she rested comfortably beside him. Her eyes were half-closed in satisfaction while Shakky worked near the kitchen area, preparing food.

The atmosphere aboard the ship was surprisingly peaceful.

The waves rolled gently against the hull.

Splash... Splash...

The sea breeze carried the scent of salt through the air.

"You know..." Gloriosa suddenly said, stretching lazily. "This actually feels great. Just living a normal life. No training, no preparing for another raid, no fighting monsters. Just living normally."

Ron smiled.

"Hmm... you're not wrong."

He leaned back against the railing.

"So enjoy it as much as you can."

Gloriosa narrowed her eyes.

"Why?"

Ron pointed toward the distant horizon.

"Because once we take Wano, both of you are going to be busy."

The moment those words left his mouth—

Shakky emerged from the kitchen carrying a tray.

Her mouth twitched.

"Don't tell me you're planning to dump the entire political nightmare of running a freaking country on us?"

Gloriosa turned and glared at Ron with equal intensity, her eyes narrowing into slits.

Ron's face instantly burned a bright, embarrassed red under their combined, judging gazes.

He awkwardly scratched the back of his messy hair, laughing nervously. "Hahaha! Well, I can't help it! I don't have a single shred of experience when it comes to running a country. But you two were literally the Empresses of Amazon Lily; you actually know how to govern a nation!"

Shakky and Gloriosa shared a thoroughly deadpan look, the silence stretching between them for a long, heavy moment. Simultaneously, they looked back at each other, let out a synchronized, heavy sigh, and shook their heads in mock regret.

"Why did we even fall for this ridiculous man again?" Gloriosa muttered under her breath, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Is it too late to change our minds and jump ship?" Shakky asked, a playful yet sharp edge to her voice.

"Oi!" Ron shouted immediately, waving his hands wildly. He looked genuinely offended that his grand proposal was being met with such immediate mutiny.

He had just offered them an entire kingdom to rule; was that really too much to ask from his brilliant partners?

Gloriosa kept her eyes locked on him, her sharp instincts screaming at her. "You are thinking about something incredibly stupid right now, aren't you?"

Ron coughed into his fist, shifting his gaze away guiltily. "Wh-what are you talking about?" he stammered, sweating slightly.

Damn this woman's intuition, he thought to himself, it is absolutely terrifying how she reads me like an open book.

Shakky sighed again, tapping her fingers against her hip as she ran through the logistical nightmare in her mind. "So, let me get this straight. We will be dealing with a closed-off nation that has been completely isolated from the rest of the world for centuries."

" On top of that, we have to win over a suspicious populace and simultaneously prepare the infrastructure for the massive immigration of Fishman Island."

"Oh yes, that sounds absolutely easy, doesn't it?" Gloriosa added sarcastically. A very dangerous, sweet smile appeared on her face, though her eyes remained freezing cold.

Ron gulped heavily, his eyes darting between Shakky and Gloriosa. Both women were now smiling brilliantly, but they were radiating a thick, suffocating killing intent that made the air around the deck feel heavy.

Well, when they put it like that, it really does sound like a complete and utter nightmare, Ron conceded inwardly, feeling a chill run down his spine.

"Ahem! Do-don't worry, I won't leave you completely hanging," Ron muttered quickly, wiping a thick bead of sweat from his forehead. "I will help you find some capable assistants to handle the paperwork and the daily grind."

"Oh? Like who? Another 'sister' you picked up along the way?" Gloriosa asked, rolling her eyes with a heavy dose of skepticism.

But to their genuine surprise, Ron shook his head firmly. "No, I am completely happy with just the two of you," Ron said, his tone shifting as he looked directly into their eyes with absolute seriousness and devotion.

Shakky and Gloriosa blinked, entirely caught off guard by his sudden sincerity. Mental question marks practically popped up above their heads as they tried to process this sudden shift.

Wasn't this the exact same perverted bastard who spent his entire time on the Rocks Pirates' ship chasing after Stussy?

What could have possibly happened to him during his long slumber to change his attitude so completely?

Shakky leaned forward, narrowing her eyes inquisitively. "You really are the real Ron, right? You haven't been replaced by an impostor?"

Ron's mouth twitched in annoyance at the accusation. "Of course I'm Ron! Don't you remember the first time we met? You two attacked me when I was trying to transport the slaves I freed to a Marine base. The Kuja pirates ambushed us, and I ended up knocking everyone out. I even spanked your and Gloriosa's asses for attacking me out of nowhere, though no one else witnessed it since the Kuja were knocked out by me and the slaves were hiding below deck!"

As Ron recounted the embarrassing memory, his lips curved upward into a nostalgic, boyish grin.

Gloriosa and Shakky instantly flushed a deep, furious crimson at the reminder of their past humiliation.

BZZZZT-CRACKLE! Before Ron could finish laughing, a brilliant bolt of blue-and-red lightning erupted from Shakky's fist, tearing through the air directly toward his face.

"St-stop talking about that, you utter bastard!" Shakky muttered, her cheeks burning as she glared at him.

Ron easily tilted his head, letting the thunder fist spark harmlessly past him into the sea, his idiotic grin never fading for a second.

"Tsk, what? Do you still think I'm not the real Ron?" he teased, laughing heartily as both women continued to glare daggers at him for bringing up that unforgettable moment.

"Yo—" Shakky started to retort, but she stopped mid-sentence. Her eyes suddenly snapped toward the distant horizon, her playful annoyance vanishing in an instant. "So, he is finally here, huh?"

Gloriosa sensed the shifting energy a second later, her head turning sharply toward the distant sea.

"Well, judging by that chaotic aura, he looks incredibly excited and ready for a brutal battle," she sighed heavily, shaking her head."Then again, what was I even expecting from a muscle-brained freak like him?"

Ron followed their gaze, squinting at the open waters. "So, who exactly is it? And damn, your observation range has grown immensely!"

Ron was genuinely curious and amazed by their progress. During the years he had been asleep, Shakky and Gloriosa clearly hadn't just sat around twiddling their thumbs or wasting time.

They had rigorously trained their Haki and mastered their Devil Fruit abilities while searching for the Pure Gold he had requested back on the ship before the God Valley incident.

Gloriosa raised her head high, a look of immense pride washing over her features. "Of course we have grown! My gravity powers have heightened my senses so much that I can even locate meteorites floating in outer space and pull them down to earth. Though, I still can't maintain that extreme, long-range connection for very long. But even so, my passive Observation Haki range is now second only to Shakky's."

Shakky smiled charmingly, "With the power of the Goro Goro no Mi amplifying my nervous system and combining with my natural Haki, my passive observation range is completely second to none. If I focus and shrink the radius, I can even hear the passing thoughts and heartbeats of others. That is what you called 'Mantra' before, right?"

Ron nodded in deep appreciation, genuinely impressed by their growth. "You two have grown exceptionally strong. I honestly wonder when your Devil Fruits will finally achieve awakening."

As they continued their discussion, the vibrant blue sky above them began to churn violently, rapidly darkening as massive, swirling thunderclouds blocked out the sun.

BOOM! CRACK-THOOM! Lightning arc'd across the sky as the wind began to howl fiercely.

Ron burst into a booming laugh, his chest heaving with excitement. "Bwahahaha! Well, it looks like he has grown quite strong over these past few years!"

Shakky and Gloriosa watched the sky intently as a colossal, winding shadow moved gracefully through the rolling thunderclouds, heading directly for their position.

"Woroororoorooo!" A booming, monstrous laughter echoed through the dark clouds, vibrating the very timber of their ship.

A massive, majestic Azure Dragon head pierced through the storm, its glowing eyes locking onto the deck below.

"Wororoorororo! Long time no see, Ron!"

"BWAHAHAHA! Long time no see, Kaido! It looks like you haven't been slacking off at all over the years!"

Ron roared back, his voice easily cutting through the raging storm as he stood tall on the deck.

"Tsk. And you are still an absolute monster, just like always," Kaido muttered, his deep voice rumbling like an earthquake as he floated above.

Even from a distance, Kaido could tell that the aura radiating from Ron was entirely different from the day of the God Valley incident. Back then, Ron had been severely weakened and restricted by a terrible curse. But now, he had absolutely nothing holding him back.

On top of that, during his years of slumber, Ron's unique physiology had continued to develop and grow exponentially stronger.

At thirty-three years old, he was technically the equivalent of a teenager by normal Giant standards, and by Ancient Giant standards, he was still practically a child. If not for Ron's desperate pleading to the ROB to let him grow at a normal human rate until his twenties, he would have still looked like a toddler right now.

Even with his current massive size, Ron hadn't even come close to reaching his physical prime yet; he still had an immense amount of room for growth. Yet, even in this youthful state, he was already operating at a terrifying, Yonko-level powerhouse capacity.

If it weren't for that specific growth request, he would have lacked the necessary time to build up his Haki mastery to match his colossal frame.

But now, he possessed the raw, terrifying strength to lift literal mountains, perfectly paired with the advanced Haki of a top-tier warrior.

Had he grown like a typical Ancient Giant, his physical mass would have outpaced his spiritual energy, leaving him lacking the dense Haki required to match monsters like Monkey D. Garp and the other legendary fighters of this era.

Ron's lips curved into a dark, eager smirk just imagining the catastrophic levels of strength he would eventually wield once he reached true adulthood by Ancient Giant standards.

After all, the Ancient Giants weren't feared as legendary "Continent Pullers" for nothing.

Yet, the sudden memory of the blood coursing through his veins caused his momentary happiness to fade away. He carried the blood of Imu—who was also terrifying hybrid of an Ancient Giant and a Lunarian.

The only reason Imu had originally needed external help to deal with Joyboy in the ancient past was because he hadn't been in his absolute prime at the time.

Even during the chaos at God Valley, Imu wasn't fighting at peak condition. He had suffered a severe, debilitating backlash just from stepping out of the Holy Land, on top of the sudden spiritual backlash caused by Saint Saturn's sudden death.

With all those massive debuffs combined, it was Imu who had been fighting under the worst possible conditions during that fateful clash.

Even now, Ron didn't truly know just how unfathomably powerful a peak Imu could be, and he had absolutely no intention of rushing to pick a fight with the sovereign of the world anytime soon.

He still needed more time to grow, and more importantly, he needed to gather powerful allies.

Every great conqueror needed their legendary commanders; just like Luffy had Zoro and Sanji, or Roger had Rayleigh and Gabban, Ron desperately needed his own top-tier fighters.

Gloriosa and Shakky were undeniably powerful, but they lacked one crucial element required to stand at the absolute apex of the world: Conqueror's Haki.

Because of this, Ron needed to venture out and locate his two definitive "wings." His obvious, definitive choices were Yamato and Boa Hancock—both of whom possessed the rare King's Haki and the limitless potential to become individual Yonko-level threats in their own right.

The fact that they happened to be two of his absolute favorite characters from his past life was simply a brilliant bonus.

Once he reached his physical adulthood and entered his absolute prime with his Mythical Zoan Surtr fruit, alongside an adult Yamato and Hancock, their core crew would become completely unstoppable on the high seas.

After all, a legendary crew required the perfect synergy: a monstrous captain, his two invincible wings, backed by the political and military might of the Fishmen, the fierce samurai of Wano, and the legendary Kuja nation—which was an absolute guarantee with Shakky, Gloriosa, and Hancock by his side.

Furthermore, he couldn't forget Kaido, King, and the rest of the Beast Pirates.

With an armada of that caliber, even Imu would think twice before instigating an all-out, apocalyptic war.

And if the World Government ever dared to activate the ancient weapon Uranus to wipe them off the map, Ron had the ultimate counter-measure ready: he would have Shirahoshi summon the colossal Sea Kings from the depths to tear the world apart.

Thanks to the Pure Gold currently in Ron's possession, both sides would technically have access to immortality, turning the global conflict into a tense, two-way standoff.

However, Ron possessed the ultimate trump card that no one else in this world could ever match: his flawless, absolute knowledge of the future.

He had already successfully altered the timeline by securing the Goro Goro no Mi, the Gravity Fruit, the Mythical Zoan Vampire fruit, and the Suzaku fruit—even if the last one had been a complete coincidence.

Ron firmly held the upper hand in this global game of chess; he simply needed to bide his time and grow.

Once his personal strength and his massive alliance reached their peak, even the ancient terror Imu would no longer pose a threat.

"WORORORORORO!!!"

Kaido's laughter pulled him back to reality.

"Since you're back—" Kaido said with battle lust burning in his eyes. "Let's have a spar!"

Shakky immediately rubbed her forehead.

"Kaido. Do you seriously know nothing besides fighting?"

Kaido snorted.

"Hmph! What would you know about the joy of a manly fight?"

CRACKLE!!!

Blue lightning exploded around Shakky.

"Oh?"

"You want to test that theory?"

A dangerous smile appeared on her face. Ron quickly stepped between them.

"HEY! He came here to spar with me!"

Ron's own battle lust ignited. After sleeping for six years. He wanted to stretch a little too. He looked toward Kaido.

"Kaido."

His grin widened.

"Don't disappoint me."

BOOOOM!!!

His body began growing.

Muscles expanded.

Black wings spread wide. Flames flickered behind him. As He shot into the sky.

Kaido laughed wildly.

"WORORORORORO!!! COME THEN, YOU BASTARD!"

The Azure Dragon dove downward.

FWOOOOSH!!!

Gloriosa immediately activated her powers. The ship slowly floated upward.

She sighed.

"There goes the quiet life."

Shakky smiled awkwardly.

"Life with Ron was never going to be quiet." She glanced toward the sky. "And with Pure Gold..."

A giggle escaped her lips.

"We can forget retirement from old age."

BOOOOM!!!

The heavens shook as dragon and giant rushed toward one another.

And somewhere above the clouds—

A battle between monsters was about to begin.
