A metallic, clanging roar echoed throughout the entire laboratory. Visible sound waves disturbed the air, and the granite floor beneath Arrogance's feet shattered instantly.
Countless shattered rock fragments flew towards Duke. He swayed slightly, dodging all of them, but the experimental equipment on the table behind him wasn't so lucky and was utterly smashed.
Duke rubbed his ears, saying with a headache, "I understand the joy of being born, but being too excited isn't good!"
"Silence!"
Arrogance's mouth immediately closed, and the sound completely vanished.
