Chapter 19 - Chapter 18: Kids, don't play with firecrackers!

"Avatar of Wind, awaiting your command!"

Janna, holding her staff, emerged from the void, embraced by the wind, her flowing hair sweeping across her forehead as she revealed a compassionate expression.

"Janna, you're finally here!"

Vi grabbed the qingniao amulet, took a step forward, and knelt before Janna: "Please help me!"

"Help Vander, help everyone!"

"Brave children shall be favored by the wind!"

Janna flicked her staff, and the door, which Vi and the others couldn't open no matter how hard they tried, was directly pried open by a gentle breeze along the door frame's cracks.

Clang!!

When the door fell to the ground, Vi and Powder's eyes lit up with joy, and Powder quickly thanked Janna: "Thank you, Janna!"

"So powerful, truly worthy of being Zaun's guardian deity!"

"Long live Janna!"

Looking at the cheering children, Janna's face showed a heartfelt smile, but recalling the scenes she had witnessed through the breeze, a worry arose in her heart.

The enemy is too powerful. Is there really enough time with just these children?

"The wind will guide you forward!"

Janna, who had other plans, turned and vanished into the gale. A sky-blue bluebird emerged from the wind and landed on Vi's shoulder. After putting on the qingniao amulet, Vi stood up and looked at the wide-open door.

"Let's go, we're going to save Vander and the others!"

....

Colin Workshop, attic.

"This needs to be modified further. It shouldn't put too much burden on the user. It's best to have mechanical arms like Dr. Octopus, fitted to the cervical spine, with the power unit placed at the waist.

Also, add a kinetic energy rotation device to the Exoskeleton reinforcement machine, so that after the kinetic energy is released, the powerful recoil can add more kinetic energy to the power unit!"

Ideas surged one after another in Duke's mind, and he became increasingly excited.

His pen drew continuously on the paper, while also perfecting the clockwork Exoskeleton he was conceiving.

Bang!!

The window was blown open by a strong gust of wind. As the strong wind rushed into the room, Janna appeared from the void.

"Don't trespass in people's homes in the middle of the night, okay!"

Duke pressed down on the blueprint that was almost blown away by the wind, "It wouldn't be good if my blueprint got blown away by you!"

"Duke, someone needs your help!"

"No time, I'm busy!"

Duke continued drawing without looking back. Janna looked at the figure hunched over the desk and sighed slightly, as if she saw those artisans who had abandoned her and turned to science.

But this child in front of her was fundamentally different from those people.

He hadn't been blinded by Voracity and desire!

"It's about Vi and Powder and the others!"

Crack!

Duke's pencil snapped directly in his hand. He slowly turned his head, "Vander and the others started a war with Silco?"

"That's right, and it's all because of you!"

"What do you mean 'because of me'?" Duke threw the broken pencil into the trash can, turned around, and looked at Janna seriously, saying, "Don't slander good people, I didn't do anything!"

"You impersonated a Piltovan and sent them intelligence, but you overlooked the most important point!"

"What?"

"That is Terrify." Janna waved her hand, and the wind in her hand transformed into vivid animations, depicting various scenes.

"After that turmoil back then, the Piltovans cleansed the Undercity. That cleansing became a nightmare for many, so they were afraid!"

"The message I sent, impersonating a Piltovan, caused the conflict?"

Duke's eyes slowly widened, and a series of images appeared in his mind.

"Come back!"

"Vi, come back!"

"Don't leave me!"

Amidst the rolling Fire, the little blue-haired girl cried out alone, her eyes filled with despair and loneliness!

Thud!

Duke, who had slammed his fist on the table, picked up the hooded jacket from the bed and looked at Janna.

"Where are they?"

"Take me there!"

A smile appeared in Janna's eyes; she had indeed not misjudged him. Her thoughts hadn't affected her actions. Her figure blurred as she appeared behind Duke, placing her hands on his shoulders.

"Wind Incarnate, at your command!"

Feeling his body lighten, Duke seemed to have broken free from the shackles of gravity. He lightly tapped his toes on the floor and shot out of the attic like a cheetah.

"Remember to help me close the window and turn off the lights!"

As Duke shot out the window, he didn't forget to remind Janna. Janna pouted, "What an unlikable brat!"

"That's called meticulousness, what do you know!"

The attic window silently closed, and the lights instantly vanished, with only the faint sound of their conversation carried on the wind.

"Remember to assist me, I haven't fought much!"

"The Wind of Change will guide you forward!"
