"My name is Bahubali Demon. I am the feudal lord here. I don't know who you are or where you came from. Some fishermen found you at the mouth of a river and sold you in the market for a good price, and I bought you.
I thought if you remembered your past, it would be difficult for you to live here with us. So I erased your memories. Don't worry—you are my servant, and you will have all comforts here. Just keep me pleased.
And yes, from today I will call you 'Saanjh,' because neither you nor I know your real name.
Now take some rest. I will come to see you in the evening… and then I will enjoy your service. Understood?"
Saying this, the demon leaves.
The girl understands nothing. She tries many times to escape, but fails every time. Eventually, exhausted, she is forced to stay in the palace.
In the evening, the demon returns and goes to her chamber. Seeing him again, the girl is completely terrified. Sweat begins to pour from her face due to fear.
The demon slowly starts walking toward her. As he comes closer, her heartbeat grows faster and faster.
Gathering all her courage, she says,
"Stop! Do not come near me."
"What!? You dare to stop me? How dare you! Every woman here dreams of making me her master, and you insult me by stopping me from coming near you!?"
Enraged, the demon moves toward her again. The girl starts breathing heavily, and suddenly, she begins to lose consciousness.
As soon as the demon tries to touch her, his hand starts burning—and the girl faints.
"What… what is happening!? My hand… why is it suddenly burning like this!?"
"Servants! Come here and help me!" he cries out in pain.
The servants rush inside and pour water on his hand to extinguish the fire.
After the flames are gone, he says,
"Now leave."
"Yes, my lord."
The demon cannot understand what just happened. He tries to touch the unconscious girl again, but hesitates and leaves.
This girl is none other than Princess Ratri.
During a ritual performed by the king—with her consent—she was deceived and sacrificed. At that moment, Princess Ratri and her energy disappeared and arrived in this realm, Nalish Lok.
However, before arriving here, her true form was altered, and half of her energy went to Prince Suseem.
Because of Bahubali Demon, she remembers nothing. And until she recalls her powers by her own will and invokes them, the half of her energy that resides within Prince Suseem will remain with him.
Meanwhile, in Tuluv Lok, Prince Suseem asks Acharya Gajpati to perform a ritual.
All preparations for the ritual are complete. Through this ritual, an energy sphere is created to locate the radiant energy present in their realm.
