Two days later, Felix was busy with the laundry when Hyunjin walked in,"Felix." He called
"What is it?."He replied, not ready to start a conversation with him.
"I know you are probably still mad at me, but I want you to have this."He said, bringing out a red colored gift bag. "I know it's not much. But i want you to have this."
Felix attention went to the gift bag in Hyunjin's hand, and he blushed,"I...I was never angry."
"You weren't angry?" The black-haired questioned.
"Yer,you didn't need to get me a gift,I'm not your boyfriend or anything. "Felix said.
"But you're my friend, right?" Hyunjin asked.
"Yer,sure. Keep it in my room or something. " He watched as Hyunjin left with a smile on his face
Later that day,Felix phone buzzed with a notification. A text message from someone that he never expected it would come from it was a message from Seungmin. He quickly reads it
Seungmin: Felix,we need to talk. Can you meet me at that cafe that we would usually go to together?. The one close to ... close to our house?. Felix didn't think twice before heading out.
Seungmin sat at a table near the window.
Felix walked in and spotted Seungmin, where he sat by the window. He rushed towards him,and cupped his face in his hands," Are you alright?." He questioned.
"Yish,I'm fine sit down."Seungmin ordered, and Felix sat across him," So Minnie, what do you want to talk about?." Felix asked, Seungmin shook his head,"Before we talk we must order coffee."the younger male insisted, and Felix gave a nod of agreement.
Seungmin gave a signal to the young waiteress who walked over to them," What can I get you?. She asked with a warm smile
"A cup of expresso and latte with two plates of Sogeum-ppang, please. " He said with a smile, Felix breathed, caught in his throat at seeing his brother smile,a smile he hadn't seen in a long while, a really long while.
The waitress gave a small nod before leaving the two brothers alone. Seungmin smiled at his brother warmly, and Felix smiled back.
After five minutes,Felix's cup of expresso and Seungmin's latte and two plates of Sogeum-ppang were placed in front of them. " So what do you wanna talk about?."
"Nuh-uh,take a sip from your coffee first." Seungmin insisted, and Felix took a sip of his expresso, setting the cup down with a clink." There,ready to talk now?."
Seungmin took a small bite from the Sogeum-ppang," How's the coffee?."
Felix sighed,"Seungmin, the coffee is fine. What do you wanna talk about?."
"Fine,I want you to talk to your parents."Seungmin replied
"Our parents, Seungmin. " Felix corrected
"Sure,our parents." Seungmin scoffed
"About what?." Felix asked
"About my baseball career. " Seungmin answered.
"So they are really behind all this." Felix quiered a frown etched on his face.
"Yes,they told me to quit baseball."
"Seungmin, tell me what really happened over there. "Felix said
"They told me to quit baseball and as they can not keep affording team fees and tuition fees. They want me to focus on my studies with the excuse that I wouldn't do well. They say baseball is taking too much of my time and affecting other activities. They also claim to be worried about the injuries and physical demands of baseball. They wouldn't listen to me, but maybe they'd listen to you."
Felix held his younger brother's hand from across the table,"Minnie,you should have told me about this earlier. Of course, I'll speak to them,you're old enough to make decisions for yourself."
Seungmin nodded,"Thank you, you're the best."
"Ah...ah,not so fast,we'll have to talk to Channie-hyung about this. " Felix said, and Seungmin nodded." Of course,Channie-hyung. "
