Captain Lubis distributed a photo to everyone there. They stared at it seriously. The photo was taken from CCTV footage, showing a meeting of three mysterious individuals in a mall parking lot.
Someone finished looking at the photo, then turned to Captain Lubis. "Captain, what does this mean?" he asked curiously.
"One of the people there is Mr. Satrio, who was proven to own eleven illegal mines in the Borneo forest," Captain Lubis said, folding his arms beneath his chest. Everyone there nodded in understanding.
"So... we're going to find out who the other two are?" someone raised their hand.
"Yes, of course. Because I'm sure those two are involved."
After Captain Lubis said that, Kaelino looked at the photo again. If these two people are proven to have connections with Mr. Satrio, then these two are clearly not just anyone.
"Didn't the police interrogate Mr. Satrio?" Kaelino asked with a sharp gaze towards Captain Lubis.
"Satrio has several networks within the police force, it's not easy to get accurate information from there." Captain Lubis grabbed his phone, then showed the latest news regarding Satrio's case. "Quoted from GRD, Satrio is suspected of being set up by certain parties regarding mining ownership. See? He can even manipulate data."
The ten agents exchanged glances, this mission felt very difficult because they would be facing people who were untouchable by the law.
To address this confusion, someone raised their hand. "If they can't be touched, will our efforts be in vain?"
"No," Captain Lubis said coldly.
Everyone grew more confused. "No? What do you mean? We operate within the law, and if the law can be manipulated, how can we possibly catch these people?!"
"I didn't say this organization is official from the government, soldier."
Everyone was startled, their faces full of question marks. Within minutes, several people began to hesitate about participating. And sure enough, someone stepped forward and returned the photo to Captain Lubis, then simply left.
That action prompted four others to do the same. An organization formed outside the government is the same as a rebel group, but with the sincere intention of cutting off the roots of mafia elements that are difficult for ordinary law to touch.
In the end, six people remained there, including Kaelino. Captain Lubis looked at them. "I'm not forcing you to join, but you yourselves consciously came here."
Kaelino clenched his hand, reassuring himself. "If I join, what do I have to do?"
"You will become a rebel who deeply loves their country," Captain Lubis replied. "Not only you, but all of you," he continued, looking at the people who still remained.
After consideration, the other five agreed to join. They were Thomas, Omar, Kevin, Adam, and Regi. They had similar backgrounds, having been involved in intelligence actions several times, just like Kaelino.
"If so, our meeting is over. I'll contact you after I find the right time to start this mission." Captain Lubis was about to leave, but Regi stopped him.
"Captain? Do you need to contact us? How will you reach us?"
"I'll contact you, in my own way," he said coldly, then left the place.
The six of them did the same, plus it was already late, and lingering too long in a place like this could arouse suspicion.
Upon reaching his car, Kaelino immediately drove away from the port construction area. From that quiet place, it changed to the glittering area of Pantai Indah Kapuk. Large buildings and bars stood close together. People passed by in their glamorous clothes, and sports cars were neatly parked at branded stores.
When his car stopped at a red light, he briefly thought about the team Captain Lubis had built. According to his track record, in his youth Captain Lubis was known as a tough soldier feared by the mafia. But over time, the mafia grew stronger. Not because they had troops, but... they allied with their enemy, namely the authorities.
Even though what he was doing was right, he was essentially fighting alone. Against enemies and his colleagues in the police force. In his old age now, he was still actively fighting the mafia, as evidenced by his direct involvement in forming a team to fight back.
Kaelino opened his car window halfway, fresh air entered along with the surrounding sounds. Beside him was a fairly crowded nightclub. Every person who came out of there was always half-conscious.
"Spoiled youth," Kaelino muttered, seeing some people there.
Just as he was about to drive off, he caught a strange sight. An unconscious girl was being carried by several men towards a car. He knew this was common in places like this, but upon observing again, he felt quite familiar with the girl.
"Aurel?" he guessed. To confirm, Kaelino turned his car towards the club, then parked right next to the men's car.
The girl's face was now clear, it was Aurel. In Kaelino's mind, what was that girl doing here late at night? He got out of his car, forcibly pulled Aurel away from them. Obviously the men were surprised and reacted rudely to him.
"Well, well! Who are you, huh!" one man snapped.
"I'm nobody." Kaelino placed Aurel into his car, then fastened her seatbelt. The girl was still unconscious.
Then he faced the men, the stench of alcohol emanating from their bodies. "I'm taking her home, you know who she is, right?" Kaelino asked.
"We know." the man chuckled. "A sexy girl," he said, then they laughed.
"Just give us that girl!" said another, Kaelino refused.
As the situation didn't improve, the men approached Kaelino to teach him a lesson. But this was their mistake. One of the men threw a punch which Kaelino easily dodged. He held the man's arm behind his back, then slammed his head into their car window until it shattered.
CRACK!
The man immediately collapsed to the ground, while the other men slowly backed away and fled in panic.
After everything was safe, Kaelino immediately took Aurel away from there, heading to the Husky residence.

Mid-journey, Aurel finally woke up. She complained of dizziness. Then, when fully conscious, she panicked. Her eyes darted around, then when she turned to the side, she exploded.
"KAELINO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"
Kaelino glanced at her. "Awake already?"
"You kidnapped me!" Aurel was angry, her breath ragged. "I'm calling the police!" she threatened, her hands still trembling as she pulled out her phone from her expensive bag.
"Huh... you were drunk, then some men tried to take you away in their car. I drove them off," Kaelino explained, his eyes now focused ahead.
Aurel smiled cynically. "You? Drove them off? Pretending to be a hero so I'd owe you?!" she shook her head, then tried to forcibly open the car door. "Let me out, now!"
"No, I'm taking you back to the Husky family residence. Besides, there are no online taxis this late at night."
"I'd rather walk than get a ride from you!" Aurel kept nagging him with her typical insults. But Kaelino was used to hearing them.
Until finally they arrived at the Husky residence. Aurel immediately jumped out of the car, complaining to the security guards stationed around the house.
"Sir! Please arrest this man! He tried to harass me!" she accused with a pleading face.
Kaelino got out of the car, looking at the security guard. "Sir, take her inside, she's still under the influence of alcohol."
"Yes, sir," said the guard, then led Aurel into the house.
She kept grumbling and yelling at him. He could still hear her voice even though Aurel was nowhere to be seen.
After everything was settled, he drove his car again and left the place. His car now sped through the empty city streets; even the traffic lights had turned yellow, blinking slowly. His phone rang, Kaelino slowed down and pulled over to the shoulder to answer the call.
"Sophia?" his eyes widened upon seeing who the call was from; without hesitation, he immediately answered it. "Honey, you're not asleep yet?"
"I just woke up," Sophia replied in a weak tone. "I heard from the security guard that you brought Aurel home, right?"
Kaelino nodded. "Yes, she was almost taken away by some men because she was drunk at a bar in Pantai Indah Kapuk."
"What?!" Sophia was shocked, her tone rising. "She could have ruined the Husky family's reputation!"
"For the future, you should keep a closer eye on her. She's still young, and she's only nineteen years old. If she chooses the wrong environment, she might end up causing you a lot of trouble."
"Alright, honey, thank you. We owe you."
"You're welcome, I just happened to be there."
The call ended. Kaelino continued driving his car towards his apartment to rest. Tonight had been so heavy for him. He had joined the organization that Captain Lubis formed. And... his heroic act towards Aurel probably wouldn't change his situation with that girl.
