Tigre was in the middle of a debriefing with his father who had information on the actual culprit behind the recent string of disappearances in the area.
"It's a name that might be familiar to you, son." Grand Admiral Aquila told him.
"Him? You can't be serious!" Tigre said as the culprit's picture was displayed on the screen.
Meanwhile, Ren and Leona had suspended their own search for the missing girls as it was time for them to meet back up with Celeste. The meeting place was a planet known for its beach resorts.
"Are you sure that we should be out in the open like this?" Leona asked as she pulled the wide brim of her straw hat over her face.
"Just relax, there's a reason Celeste picked this place to meet. There may be more people here, but their all focused on their own vacations. They won't be paying attention to us at all." Ren explained.
"Yeah, I guess that's a good point."
"I mean who would look at a burly tomboy like you when there are all these pretty women around." Ren said to which Leona gave him a retaliatory punch.
"Hey Ria, look who it is." Violence was strolled up to them with Ria on his arm. "What are you guys doing here? You on a beach trip with your girlfriend too?"
"W-What are you doing here?" Leona shouted.
"He's on a beach trip with his girlfriend, he just said." Ren replied. "And at the risk of getting repetitive, I should remind you that I have a purely platonic relationship with her. She's like a lost puppy or something like that."
"That's not exactly right is it?" They heard someone say. They turned around to see Celeste lying underneath an umbrella.
"Celeste? When did you get here? Anyway, it's strange to hear you sticking up for me." Leona said.
"Yes, that's completely wrong. Puppy's are cute." Celeste continued.
"That's right my mistake, she's like a lost gorilla." Ren corrected himself. Ren received another punch to the back of the head for that comment.
"Hey get this Celeste, did you know that Ren's dad is some sort of Imperial big shot?" Leona asked Celeste as she changed the subject.
"Are you serious? Are you saying that you didn't know? After all the time he never told you?" Celeste asked as she pulled her sunglasses down to look at Leona.
"What you mean you knew?"
"Of course I did, his sister used to be a big shot on our planet."
"He has a sister?"
"Well, a half sister technically. Although you have lots of half siblings on your mother's side don't you?"
"I'd prefer not to talk about that." Ren said.
"I'm sure you wouldn't." Celeste said with a snide smile.
"Do you have anything actually important for us. You went off on your own for a reason didn't you?" Ren said firmly.
"Oh? You're a bit sensitive today aren't you Ren?" Celeste chuckled. "But yes, I did bring back more than just witty banter."
"It's not that witty."
"I've got some pretty valuable information, and a meeting with someone that could get us in front of your target. He's a high ranking official but he wants to meet you all face to face."
"That sounds a bit sketchy." Ren said.
"Maybe so, but the only way to know for sure is to go to Earth and find out." Celeste responded.
"I guess so." Ren said. "What do you think?" He asked Leona.
She paused for a moment before responding. "Are you okay?" Ren asked.
"Yeah, I mean I want to get back to my goal but…" Leona said as she looked off.
"Yeah I pretty much get it." Ren said.
"What are you two talking about?" Celeste asked.
"We have to stay here for a while." Ren replied.
"Huh?!?! Are you kidding me? Do you think it was easy to get this meeting set up? I only did it to help you guys out so you better explain what the hold up is." Celeste asked furiously.
"There's a guy around here who's abducting women. It seems like Leona wants to stay here and catch the guy." Ren explained.
"That's ridiculous! Why would you have to stay and do it? If you leave it alone the proper authorities will handle it." Celeste protested.
"Yeah plus Tigre is investigating too I'm pretty sure. He's stronger than you so he could easily handle it himself." Violence added.
"I know, it's just… I know it doesn't make any sense but, I just feel like I want to do something about it." Leona responded.
"How childish." Ren said as he patted her on the head. "I guess that leaves us no choice but to give you a hand."
"Ren…" Leona said quietly.
"How selfish. I suppose we could push back our meeting, but do you actually have any information as to where this kidnapper might be?" Celeste asked.
"Well, actually I did have a plan to find him." Leona said.
"What? You do?"
"Well, we know he's abducting girls right? So what if we use me as bait to catch him?" Leona suggested.
"Yes, that's not a bad idea, but it has one problem." Ren said.
"What?"
"He might be only after cute girls."
"That's a good point." Violence agreed.
The rest of the group all nodded their heads in agreement.
"It'd probably have to be Celeste or Ria." Ren said.
"Hey! I'm cute too!"
The group continued to do their usual routine and when back and forth for a while. Meanwhile, they were being watched by a mysterious man.
"Found you. I finally found you!" He thought as he looked at them.
The man who was watching them was none other than. Former Vercheg army sergeant, Deergen. A man who was once defeated by Leona.
