Katarina really, really missed Vessa. And she was showing her how much in exactly the way Vessa would most appreciate it: making out on her bed.
Vessa had her back against the pillow with Katarina over her, one palm flat against the wall, and they'd been at it long enough that Katarina had stopped keeping track of time. Katarina had missed everything about Vessa, from the way she felt to her scent, badly enough that she wasn't in any hurry to stop.
Then Vessa's hand slid down her stomach and started working at the laces of her trousers, and Katarina grabbed her by the wrist.
"If you start that," Katarina said, "we won't stop."
Vessa looked up at her.
"Maybe I don't want to see the Compasso that badly."
"Come on, you came all this way," Katarina said. "Let's at least give it an hour or two before I put you on your knees."
"How very romantic of you~"
