Chapter nine:
(Inside Darth Zeth's dreams.) He saw two men fighting and one of them had cut the others limbs off. He was groaning from the pain when the other one yelled. "You were the Chosen One. It was said that you would destroy the Sith not join them, bring balance to the Force not leave it in darkness." The man who spoke these words walked up and took the other man's lightsaber. The other turned around to say. "You were my brother Anakin, I love you." (Anakin) I feel like I heard that name before but where.) Anakin then burst into flames. Burning him severely. The man then left Anakin to die. Then Darth Zeth saw a familiar faces, Emperor Palpatine's. "Go get a medical capsule." Said Emperor Palpatine. (Could this be another apprentice Emperor Palpatine had?) He then saw Anakin being given prosthetics he then saw a familiar mask being put on Anakin. (No it can't be.) "Lord Vader." Said Emperor Palpatine. "Yes my master." Replied Darth Vader. "Rise." Said Emperor Palpatine.
Darth Zeth then jumped up with sweat dripping all over him. The dream's he had were so vivid. Had they been real? He got up from the hospital bed and put on his Sith robe and tied Padme's long brown hair into a coiled bun with a black elastic. Then they went to his master's personal chamber to ask if it was true.
They stood inside a room with a huge dorm where Emperor Palpatine kept himself inside. The dorm opened and Emperor Palpatine said. "So you are awake my young apprentice."
He got down on one knee to bow to him. "Yes, my master." Replied Cale Lestin.
"You wish to be hesitant about something. What is it you with to ask me?" Said Emperor Palpatine.
Darth Zeth did not stand up but spoke. "While I was recovering I had vivid dreams."
"The Force can let us see the future and the past. That is probably what you saw." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"Yes, but, (pause.) Before you trained me did you have another apprentice named Anakin?" Replied Cale Lestin.
Emperor Palpatine got up and walked right up to him bearing down on him. "Do not ever speak that name in my presence again. Do you understand?" Said Emperor Palpatine.
"Yes master." Replied Cale Lestin.
"Good now observe how things are going on the bridge." Said Emperor Palpatine.
Darth Zeth stood up and walked away.
As he walked away Emperor Palpatine thought to himself. "I do not want him to remember that name because that name no longer applies to me."
There was still a part of him, a small part, that remembered Anakin Skywalker and if his enemies ever found out that part they could use it against him or worse Darth Zeth would be disappointed in him. That's right, despite his tough exterior he cared about what a twenty five year old boy would think of him. He also knew from reading his mind he thought of him as a father too. He promised himself he would never let himself be in this kind of situation again and yet here he was caring for another person.
The visor screen sizzled as a picture of Commander Tagge came on screen. "Emperor Palpatine, Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala has just taken the Naboo Royal Starship and is going into hyper space."
"What? Tell the crew to lock on their position and follow them while you still can and get me a secure channel to talk to them." Replied Emperor Palpatine.
Tagge's picture disappeared and a picture of Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala appeared. Emperor Palpatine stood up and yelled. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"
Darth Zeth responded with. "If you won't tell me about Anakin Skywalker's past then I will find out by myself."
"Darth Zeth I demand you come back immediately and I promise not to punish you severely." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"We will come back. (pause) When we are good and ready." Replied Padme Amidala.
She then shut off the connection and went into hyperspace. Emperor Palpatine stood there feeling more angry than before.
He switched the visor back to Tagge. "Commander ready my shuttle."
Tagge started to shake. "Yes my lord."
As the Eclipse went into hyperspace Emperor Palpatine would show Darth Zeth that no one disobeyed the dark lord not even his own apprentice.
