I know exactly who took my manga and I am going to take it back!
Before leaving the apartment, the one hidden camera managed to capture the culprit- tall, lanky, kinda hunch back, black hair, glasses, wearing a white turtle neck. Honestly kinda embodies L's physique if L were to wear glasses.
Anyways I know exactly where he is because other than his house, the manga cafe near the orphanage was our second home.
Josh's car is actually pretty fast. I think I'll need to ask him to make modifications like these to my own car once I see him again... Granted I don't think he will do me any favors anytime soon after abducting his baby (the car).
I slow down as I approach the manga cafe. It looked like it was closed... which makes sense at 3am, but Cade and I had long made our own room within the building in that we could hide away and geek out to our manga.
Out the car and through the back gate of the manga cafe, I walked up to the 3rd window to the right side of the building. It's usually kept open and checking again, it was. I opened the window and got in.
It took some adjusting my eyes to once I got it but once they did get adjusted, I found him there. Laying on a chair upside down, feet in the air. He's always been an odd one. Not even taking a second glance from his book, he acknowlege's me, "sup."
"Sup?!"
"SUP?!"
"YOU TOOK MY MANGA!!!"
He sighs, "but you weren't using it"
"?!"
"It's mine either way. YOU COULD HAVE ASKED!!!"
Sighing again, "I couldn't get ahold of you."
Then gesturing, he motions at the strawberry cream cake I had not realized was in the room until that moment.
I guess he really is embodying L at the moment.
"Where is my book?"
"It's on the table by the bookcase."
Sure enough, it was right there. I examined it and sighed in relief noticing it was still in good condition. I set it back down though I didn't want to get it dirty before I finish devouring a slice of strawberry creme cake. Cade knows it's my favorite. *its so delicious*
I can sense Cade is watching me, even though he appeared to be covering his face with a book. I couldn't really care right now though, the cake was more than enough to make up for this ordeal.
I had planned to see him today either way. If there is one thing I learned from my encounter with Josh earlier, it's that things can change so quickly in a week.
I guess while I was there, thinking, Cade had gotten up. I didn't really think about it since he could be trying to reach for a different manga. Instead, he had used his long legs to approach me and without a word, wipe a bit of cream at the corner of my lips with is fingers. Then that glutton had the audacity to lick the cream off of his finger. THERE'S STILL HALF A CAKE LEFT AND YOU ARE BOTHERED BY THE BIT OF CREAM ON MY FACE?
He does weird things like this ocassionally. At this point I can't be bothered. I think the sleepiness is catching up to me at this point. I can't help but yawn, I've been up since 5 am yesturday and it's soon approaching 5 am again. I'll be in so much trouble tommorrow when I show up at the mansion.
I can't help it though. I might as well sleep here since I want to hang out at the orphanage later. Cade had gotten back to his sofa after choosing the next manga of the series he had been reading. I yawn once again, "I'm kind of tired. Wake me up in like 30 minutes?"
I see him nod at a distance and I fall asleep on one of the couches at the corner of the room.
I woke up in heaven again, all nice, tucked in and comfy. This is nice...
