Nedra stood rigid before the still-white screen, her hands balled into fists. She didn't seem to care at all that she'd mentioned cock.
"Those cheating bastards! If they had any balls, they'd stop hiding behind those fucking ballistas and settle this on the field!"
Fiona had gone pale, one hand unconsciously pressed against her mouth. Tobias, meanwhile, stood with both fists clenched tightly at his sides, his attention fixed on the still-white screen.
Unlike Nedra, neither seemed angry. They were simply worried about the cadets beneath that light.
Zephyrion didn't bother responding to Nedra's complaints.
This was war.
In war, everything was allowed. Zephyrion knew that better than most, and sooner or later, these cadets would have to learn it too. That was part of what the academy was preparing them for; the brutality of the world.
