"What is up, Chad?" Noticing his friend's gloomy look, Caelus asked.
"Caelus." Chad was stunned as he turned toward him.
"Oh, who is this, Chad? Your friend? Why did you not introduce him to us?" One of the men beside him spoke with a laugh.
The others also laughed with him as if they were witnessing the funniest thing in the world.
Caelus frowned seeing this. "What is there to laugh about? Do you think the world is rainbows and sunshine?"
The laughter broke as the person who spoke before spoke again. "What did you say, brat? Who do you think you are to question what we do?"
"Enough, Justin. He might just be like Chad, a frog in the well. There is no need to say anything further. Let us go on our way after getting our money."
"And as mentioned, Chad. You will get 1%." The man who spoke was Phillip. He wore a grin as he stared at Chad.
Chad did not say anything upon hearing this. He seemed to have something on his mind, but he seemed reluctant to speak.
