Sera and Kalien stared at it in disgust, concerned about the various illnesses they might get from consuming it.
Rudy, however, had no such concerns. He already knew how to safely prepare dreadborn meat — it was one of the most common food sources in the old realm, after all. He had expected Seraphel to know the method as well, but he had been wrong.

Even though all the irregulars on the path of dreams had prophetic dreams, not everyone could make use of them. Most remembered the dreams when they were about to face the situation, and some remembered them as a jumbled mess.
Only a few were named Fate's Children; these people could remember most of their dreams and were the most difficult to deal with.
