Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Phantylia Arrives by Divine Decree

"Ah, forget it. Looks like we're going to be busy again soon."

Herta let out a light sigh and ended the topic there.

She then turned to Ruan Mei and made another suggestion.

"Ruan Mei, given your friendship with Yu Qingtu… do you think she'd be willing to work with us after learning about Mystery and that Theresa?"

Ruan Mei gave her answer almost immediately.

"I think it's worth trying. Based on what we've learned today, I don't think any genius would refuse a problem like this."

Herta nodded in agreement.

"Fine. Then I'll bring in Screwllum and Stephen too."

"I refuse to believe that with five geniuses working together, we still won't be able to restore the history that Mystery altered."

At that moment, Kiana very much wanted to cut in and say that they really couldn't.

But as a person with professional ethics, Kiana decided to swallow it for now.

Two days later.

Herta Space Station, platform deck.

Kiana leaned lazily over the observation railing, staring at the dazzling Blue planet hanging nearby.

It had already been two days since that thrilling war inside the Simulated Universe.

During those two days, Herta and Ruan Mei seemed to have been injected with adrenaline. They holed themselves up in the office all day, doing who knew what.

Rumor had it they had already contacted Screwllum and Stephen, and had even sent an invitation to Yu Qingtu.

But none of that had anything to do with Kiana.

Her main job right now was simple—

Play.

That's right. All of her premium charging packs were busy with their own affairs, and Kiana had been neglected again!

That said, Kiana didn't actually mind too much.

After all, she had just made a huge fortune. Taking it easy for a while wasn't a bad thing.

Just then—

"Kiana! Over here, over here!"

A familiar voice called out from behind her.

Kiana turned and saw Asta hurrying over with an armful of documents, her face lit up with her usual bright smile.

"Miss Asta, don't you have work today?"

"There's always more work to do!" Asta set the documents aside and leaned against the railing next to her with practiced ease. "But spending time with friends is important too! Lady Herta specifically gave me time off and told me to show you around the station."

Kiana blinked.

So Herta was too busy herself and had found someone her age to keep her company?

Kiana wanted to say it really wasn't necessary. After all, she wasn't truly some newly awakened ancient being who couldn't stand loneliness.

Still, now that things had come to this, she didn't dislike the arrangement.

Asta really was a good companion—warm, cheerful, and not the type to ask questions that made your head hurt.

And just so happened, the place they were standing now was rather special.

Kiana asked, "Asta, I heard from the others that this platform was specially built for the Astral Express?"

As she spoke, she pointed toward the unusual stretch of rail in the distance.

Clearly, that was where the Astral Express had docked not long ago—also the scene of the crime where the Doomsday Beast had been blown apart.

"Mhm!" Asta nodded. "Lady Herta is on pretty good terms with the Express crew, so she specially reserved this place for them."

"Are you curious about the Astral Express, Kiana?"

Kiana nodded thoughtfully.

"It is the legacy of the Trailblaze Aeon, after all. Even back in my era, the Astral Express had a pretty big name."

More importantly, there was someone aboard it now whom Kiana cared about very much.

The former Herrscher of Reason—Welt Yang.

They were bound to meet sooner or later. She had no idea what kind of reaction he would have when he saw her.

At that moment, Asta picked up another topic.

"Kiana, have you heard of Miss Stelle?"

"Stelle?" Kiana tilted her head slightly.

Of course she knew her. She was the protagonist, the Trailblazer.

Asta excitedly began gesturing as she spoke.

"She's a girl with a Stellaron inside her, and she was even gazed upon by the Aeon of Destruction. Back when the Doomsday Beast attacked the station, Miss Stelle played a major part in defeating it."

"Speaking of which, all those Antimatter Legion monsters under Destruction are so annoying. Unlike our Kiana—who's a Destruction Emanator but still gentle and adorable!"

Asta giggled and poked Kiana's cheek.

Not only did Kiana not dodge, she proudly puffed out her chest.

"Of course. Kiana is the cutest in the world!"

That completely unserious declaration made Asta burst out laughing.

Ah, women.

Kiana spread her hands, then turned her gaze once more toward the special star rail reserved for the Astral Express.

As an Emanator, her sensitivity to Paths far surpassed that of ordinary people, and now she could clearly feel the aura of Trailblaze lingering there.

According to the original Trailblaze route of events, after leaving the station, the Astral Express should have gone to Jarilo-VI next.

But Jarilo had already been commandeered by her, so perhaps the future would now shift in some small way.

After all, in the original timeline, the Astral Express had intended to go to Penacony first, but because of the Stellaron Hunters, it had ended up on the Xianzhou Luofu instead.

Still, no matter where the Astral Express went next, Kiana was prepared.

What she was hesitating over now was whether she ought to take the opportunity to develop a Trailblaze avatar as well.

After all, all the major incidents of the future were tied to Trailblaze. If a Trailblaze Emanator were to suddenly appear, she might be able to completely throw the Stellaron Hunters' prophecies into chaos.

"Kiana? What are you thinking about?"

Asta's voice broke into her thoughts.

Only then did Kiana come back to herself. She shook her head.

"Nothing. I just think the Astral Express is pretty interesting."

But before she could say anything more, a harsh alarm suddenly shattered the moment between them.

"What's going on?" Asta instantly straightened.

Kiana, meanwhile, narrowed her eyes and looked through the station's shield toward the stars beyond.

There, she sensed a familiar presence.

Destruction.

"The Antimatter Legion is here," Kiana said calmly.

"What?!" Asta's face went pale.

She didn't doubt Kiana's words for a second.

After all, Kiana was an Emanator of Destruction. It made perfect sense that she could sense things Asta could not.

But compared to the previous attack—when Herta had been absent from the station—if the Antimatter Legion was showing up now, were they here just to deliver themselves to death?

Yet Kiana wore an expression of surprise.

Because she had felt a fluctuation on the level of an Emanator.

A fluctuation belonging to both Destruction and Harmony.

And then, a melody from Harmony resounded throughout the entire space station.

"By the will of the Ravager God, I have come.

I shall bring destruction upon you all."
