"I'm ready." I announced and he blinked hard, almost dropping his cell phone. He was clad in a black suit too.
I wondered if we were going to a Black party? I could tell that he was both proud and surprised.
I'm also surprised. I can't believe that I was pulling off the new look. "Does it look okay?"
"You really look like an Alpha's soon-to-be wife, now." He complimented but I only smile. I was certain that he was only saying that to boost my confidence.
Not knowing how to reply to that kind of compliment, I only said 'thank you'.
"Great! let's go" He held out his hands to me and I took it. I followed him outside to where the car was parked. He opened the door and I got next to him before Charles took the wheel.
As soon as we started the journey, I began to regret agreeing to this. I wanted nothing more than to go back home but I had already given him my word and I wouldn't want to break it or back out no matter what.
