Jay's POV
I woke up from my sleep and checked my phone and I realised something,
Jay: shit
And i quickly woke up only to pulled down by him,
K: where are you going?
J: Keif, it's my best friend's birthday and I totally forgot.
K: but we did not finish this yet
J: We will continue, when I return, now be a good boy and leave me
K: Okay after a kiss
I kissed him and left to freshen up and change my self, and bid bye to him and left.
On my way I picked up cake, flowers and balloons for Sara and went to her apartment
She gave me glare.
J: i am really sorry,I will make it up to
S: How can you be late
J: Sorry, I slept and did not see the time
S: come in
Then we celebrated her birthday and went out had a lot fun and went to arcade to play games, went out eating and other fun places
Keifer's PoV
I was so bored without her the whole, I didn't know what to do, I kept roaming around the house and tried reading books but it did not help, So I tried to cook and clean, because i did not want to disturb her on her day out.I really got used to her presence, I think I don't know how to be alone in this house.
Finally I was 9 pm, I called her
K: Jay, When are you coming home?
J: Keifer, about that Sara is angry that I almost missed her birthday I am staying with her tonight.
K: is everything okay, your voice sounds different?
J: Yes, I am fine, I will just meet tomorrow at the office
K: this is not fair, you said we will continue and now you are leaving me alone
J: I am sorry Keifer, I will meet you at the office tomorrow bye
K: okay bye, Love you.
And she ended the call and I was sulking because she did not come, I roamed arounded and lied in bed but couldn't sleep because i missed her and was starring and slowly, I fell asleep.
The next morning I went to office and I was waiting and it was almost time but she did not show up yet, I tried texting and calling but she did not pick up and i was about to go check up on her, she finally entered my office, I ran towards her and hugged her but she did not hug me back, i looked at her and asked if everything was okay.
J: Keifer, we need to talk
K: What happened Jay?
J: Let's sit down
K: okay
Both of us settled down, when she passed a file, I opened and saw it was resignation notice,
K: I don't understand why are applying for resignation now? Do you want to do something else?
J: No, I want to leave this company
K: but why?
J: It's My wish, also I want to break up with you and hearing that words broke my heart
K: Jay don't start kidding in the morning. I said a little scared
J: I am not kidding, I am going to resign and I am breaking up with you.
I quickly held her hand and said
K: "Jay, You cannot do that"
J: I can and I am leaving, she removed my hand and stood up to leave and I held her and did not let her move, she tried to push me and leave
K: no you cannot leave, i shouted with tears in my eyes and holding her close
K: why do you want to leave me
J: because I found someone better than, so i am going to leave you
and my hold loosened a little when she said that and she took this as an opportunity and pushed me and left without looking back at me, I knelt to the ground and cried my heart out as I watched her walk out.
