Chapter 100 - Chapter 100: Sky Island

Raiden Ei finished the over 100 portions of meat she ordered while the Waitress watched in trepidation.

If the boss hadn't instructed them not to disturb her, they would have really wanted to ask where all that meat—more than her own body weight—had gone.

After finishing the meat, Raiden Ei wiped her mouth with a nearby handkerchief; the meat in the pirate world was quite good, even ordinary chicken, duck, pork, beef, and mutton tasted better than what she had eaten before her transmigration.

The Waitress also brought out the dessert at this time.

Raiden Ei waited for the Waitress to set down the plate before asking her, "Calculate the bill, how many Berries do I need to pay?"

The Waitress was stunned for a moment because the boss had said that this was an important customer and not to collect money, but he had also said not to refuse any of Raiden Ei's conditions, which made things a bit difficult.

However, this wasn't for her to decide, so it was better to leave it to the boss to handle: "I need to ask the boss about this. Would you like me to notify him for you?"

Raiden Ei thought, isn't this restaurant's prices clearly marked?

Could it be another shop that judges people by their appearance?

But thinking of the Restaurant Owner's expression just now, it was probably her own issue. She didn't refuse: "Alright, go ahead!" She then began to taste the dessert on the table.

After a short while, Raiden Ei saw the Restaurant Owner walking in with a smile. She didn't say anything else and asked as the Waitress had mentioned, "How many Berries does this meal cost in total?"

The Restaurant Owner waved his hands hurriedly and said, "This meal is on the house, you don't need to pay any Berries."

Raiden Ei refused directly: "No need, I'm not short on Berries." She didn't want to be beholden to anyone by taking favors.

She didn't want to get involved with the other party over such a small matter. Even if the other party didn't dare to make demands because of her strength, she would still be at a disadvantage.

The other party hadn't provoked her, so she had no reason not to pay. Besides, Raiden Ei had to pay for things in Inazuma, let alone now.

The Restaurant Owner had been watching Raiden Ei's expression. Seeing that her expression didn't change much, he went along with what she said.

Now wasn't the time to worry about Berries; he had offered the meal for free because he was afraid Raiden Ei wouldn't be satisfied. Now that she wanted to pay, he had no objection, as long as she was satisfied.

"Then I apologize, I overstepped my bounds.

You need to pay a total of 150,000 Berries."

Raiden Ei didn't think much of it. Prices varied on every island, and she couldn't possibly investigate them all. She paid what she thought was reasonable.

She paid the bill directly and left the restaurant, preparing to head to the place where the Restaurant Owner said the Upheaval Current appeared. It wasn't far and wouldn't take long to reach.

Walking on the street again, the surrounding people and sounds remained the same. Raiden Ei passed through several alleys and suddenly heard someone's continuous cries of pain.

She didn't care much, just glanced over curiously as she passed by.

Several fierce-looking thugs were beating a man, cursing at him: "Pay up, you bastard! Why gamble if you have no money? If you don't pay back the money, we'll beat you to death."

The man on the ground didn't dare to fight back, only letting out screams and pleas for mercy as he was beaten: "Ah! Ah! Ah! Stop hitting me, stop hitting me! Give me a few more days, I'll definitely pay it back, stop hitting me."

At this time, one of the thugs keeping watch saw Raiden Ei's gaze. His expression immediately turned ferocious, and he pointed at her and shouted: "Get lost, or I'll beat you up too!"

Raiden Ei hadn't expected to be cursed at and threatened with a beating just for glancing over curiously while passing by. They were far too overbearing!

She didn't indulge them. Her purple eyes narrowed slightly, and a powerful aura swept out from her body towards the men. In an instant, everyone in the alley collapsed with their eyes rolling back.

Raiden Ei didn't even stop her pace and continued walking forward.

The pirates nearby who had been watching Raiden Ei walked into the alley. Seeing everyone fainted, they were all dumbfounded. To take people down with just an aura alone was truly terrifying.

Is this a great pirate with a bounty of one billion?

"Such a person must never be provoked. I must notify the boss immediately."

...

"The Upheaval Current won't arrive for at least another half month. It's faster to just ascend to the ten-thousand-meter high sky directly."

After teaching the overbearing thugs a lesson, Raiden Ei left Jaya Island. She was now standing on the sea where the Restaurant Owner said the Upheaval Current would appear.

She looked around and didn't find the salvage Shoujou that Luffy and the others had encountered. However, she wasn't surprised; it was still too early at this point in time.

"Four hundred years ago, the Upheaval Current pushed half of Jaya Island into the sky, where it became a Sky Island. And the Skypiea Shandora also fell into a slumber upon the Sky Island."

Raiden Ei no longer hesitated and used "Geppo" to run toward the sky. Both the gold and the Goro Goro no Mi were things she wanted to obtain.

Leaving the gold on the Sky Island was a waste. Since they didn't want it anymore, she would unceremoniously take it.

But she still didn't know how much gold the real Skypiea had.

This was something Raiden Ei couldn't imagine. She had never seen a city built of gold; there were probably several hundred tons of it!

Otherwise, it wouldn't be called Skypiea.

Her speed grew faster and faster. In just a few breaths, her figure reached a height of hundreds of meters.

As the saying goes, standing high allows one to see far. Her gaze swept over the sea below; the blue waves were as clear as if they had been washed, very beautiful, with no sign of danger at all.

Whoosh

She continued to run toward the sky, passing through the clouds. The endless sea of clouds was stepped beneath her feet, and the sky here was even clearer.

Raiden Ei kept running upward, her figure like a rocket heading straight for the sky, until she passed through a thick sea of clouds and saw the island floating in the sky. Only then did she stop her upward leap.

Raiden Ei stayed in the air, her purple clothes fluttering slightly in the wind, and her long braid behind her also swaying. Her expression was calm, the corners of her mouth slightly curved, and her eyes were full of curiosity and appreciation for this place.

Combined with the backdrop of the white sea of clouds, Raiden Ei looked like a celestial goddess.

She looked at the giant island in the distance. Islands on the sea were generally covered with forests and trees, but while the ocean was blue, the sea of clouds here was white.

"Is this the Sky Island? So beautiful."

"I'll find a place to land first! I don't know where this is yet; I'll have to find someone to ask."

"I remember the Goro Goro no Mi appeared in Birka, right?"

"I wonder if Enel has eaten the Goro Goro no Mi yet. If he has, then I'll just have to say sorry to him."

Raiden Ei used "Geppo" to run toward the island floating in the sky.
