Raiden Ei pondered this question with a serious expression, but she felt it wasn't a major issue.
Sanjam's body was rapidly regenerating. The tentacles on his body were writhing restlessly as he looked at Raiden Ei with greedy eyes, saying with a dismissive tone, "So what? I'm immortal. No matter what kind of attack you use, I won't die, hahaha!"
"Now it's just the two of us left. Why not cooperate with me and share those two treasures?
Robuck and the others who knew about the treasure are all dead. Now, only I know where it's hidden. Hahaha!"
Raiden Ei's train of thought was interrupted by Sanjam's noisy voice. She didn't want to talk to a lunatic who had already lost his mind.
The demon blade in her hand swung instantly. With two "crack" sounds, his body was sliced into three sections. Sanjam's ongoing laughter was cut short, and his head slowly began to turn into slime.
Raiden Ei thought to herself that it was as she expected; her guess was correct. His ability likely came from a Devil Fruit. To be safe, she decided to throw him into the sea!
With such a monstrous Devil Fruit ability, she wouldn't feel at ease even if she hacked him into dust. It was unavoidable that he might come back to life somewhere else. She had no intention of letting this pirate go.
The demon blade in her hand was instantly enveloped in Armament Haki, and she stabbed it directly into Sanjam's largest segment. With a "squelch," the demon blade pierced through his body without resistance.
"Geppo." Carrying the demon blade with Sanjam's rapidly regenerating body still hanging from it, Raiden Ei quickly ran through the sky towards the edge of the island.
"Swish"
Her figure streaked across the sky like a meteor, passing directly over the seashore and heading further out.
Raiden Ei didn't stop until a minute or two after crossing the coastline. Her gaze swept over the boundless ocean, and she thought this place was quite good.
Sanjam's head had fully regenerated by this time. The moment he opened his eyes, he saw the vast ocean, with no horizon in sight.
He was absolutely terrified by this sight. The dense tentacles on his body didn't even dare to move. He shouted at Raiden Ei in a panic, "Hey! Woman, where have you brought me? Take me back, now!"
Raiden Ei looked at Sanjam with some surprise. Didn't he firmly believe he was immortal? It was that kind of delusional confidence; she had thought he was truly insane!
She ignored his demands, but she wanted to see what kind of expression he would make once he realized he was about to be buried at sea.
"Don't you understand yet? This is your burial ground! But since you're immortal, you'll probably stay in this ocean forever!"
"Don't you want the treasure we found anymore? Robuck and the others are all dead. I'm the only one left who knows where it is!
Take me back quickly! I can tell you where the treasure is, as long as you let me go."
Hearing Raiden Ei say she was going to throw him into the ocean, Sanjam was so frightened that he immediately started promising terms.
Raiden Ei thrust the demon blade forward slightly and said with some confusion, "Aren't you immortal? Why would you be afraid of the sea?"
Sanjam shouted in a panic, "No, no, no! I really am immortal; you can't kill me like this!
Let me go! I've already found the treasure. If you just let me go, I'll tell you where I hid it."
"As for the treasure, as long as it's hidden on that island, I can find it myself.
However, I'm quite curious about whether you're actually immortal, so you should just be buried at sea!"
Raiden Ei was not tempted by the treasure at all. She found his panicked expression boring and swung the demon blade in her hand directly toward the sea below.
Sanjam was so terrified that his whole body trembled, but at the brink of death, he became vicious. He shouted with a distorted face, "Even if I die, I won't let you off! Die!"
The tentacles all over his body grew frantically, all rushing toward Raiden Ei, densely packed like a true tentacle monster.
Looking at the thousands of tentacles rushing toward her, Raiden Ei said dismissively, "Is that all? You want to fight me to the death with this? You're overthinking it!" Black and red lightning once again flickered around her as she raised the demon blade and slashed downward.
"Swish"
A massive slash emerged, instantly severing all the incoming tentacles and cleaving toward Sanjam.
"Aaah! You'll never find the treasure! Hahaha!"
Sanjam was hit directly by the slash, and his body burst apart. The massive slash showed no sign of stopping, carrying Sanjam's remains as it continued to cut into the sea.
"Boom"
The surface of the sea was directly split open by Raiden Ei's slash. Waves over ten meters high splashed up, and a trench dozens of meters long and over ten meters deep was instantly formed.
For a moment, seawater surged and poured back in, but the missing water couldn't be replenished in a short time, and the surrounding sea became turbulent.
Raiden Ei stood steadily in the sky, using Observation Haki to sense the sea below, checking the situation in the water, but she sensed nothing.
"He's likely dead. It's impossible not to die from that. If he's still alive after this, then I truly have no other way."
Even now, she didn't fully understand Sanjam's ability; she probably only knew the surface of it, and she must be forgiven for not knowing the deeper details.
But she didn't care; she wasn't a scientist who had to research and understand everything she didn't know. All she wanted was to be able to kill him.
If she had used Elemental Power, it probably would have been easier! However, she no longer had Elemental Power.
Raiden Ei stopped thinking about other things and used "Geppo" to head toward Panshan Island. She had rushed here at top speed, but on the way back, she didn't need to be so fast; walking slowly allowed her to do other things.
As she ran through the sky, she used her consciousness to open the system panel, preparing to see how many Devil Fruits had dropped from the pirates she killed today.
