Training Ground of the Wu Clan Estate
---
Wu Tianmo had been practicing the Crimson Moon Sword Dance ever since he left the marital chamber three days past.
He wiped the sweat from his brow and pondered,
The Crimson Moon Sword Dance isn't merely 300 moves, but over 600.
He maneuvered through the first 15 moves once again, slowly.
The moves can't be interpreted as simply as I first thought. Each motion could be two or three.
As his cultivation realm increased so did his understanding, which has led to many revelations.
Whether it was more efficient ways to use his body, or even new ways of performing certain move sets.
His increased speed and strength created endless possibilities.
There was also something different about using a real sword, compared to the practice sword, it felt more real.
It felt like the metal blade sang as the dance continued. A faint tune played within his mind accompanying the sword dance in tempo and pitch.
He opened his eyes, took a deep breath and retrieved a bottle from a small table near the weapon rack. He looked at it with great interest, this was the Jade Tempering Pill.
Liu Changfeng mentioned only one could be taken per person, so why did he give me three.
He thought about it a bit more only to realize Liu Changfeng was a true friend, not only has he been taking care of himself but he planned for his child's future.
Wu Tianmo started to feel guilty, while he did save Liu Changfeng's life, he was leeching off his goodwill too much.
I will repay him once I have the strength needed to stand shoulder to shoulder with the others.
He sat in the lotus position and swallowed one of the pills and began channeling the Crimson Lunar Blood Scripture.
It immediately went to work, a flood of spiritual essence had begun to wash his internal organs, a river of cold washed every inch within his body.
As opposed to the normal pain that accompanied breaking through in the Body Reforging Realm the Jade Pills worked to nourish them, to strengthen without destruction.
A few hours later all of his internal organs were nourished and emitted a faint glow of white light.
Suddenly a burst of crimson exploded around him.
Wu Tianmo grinned as another layer of black filth exploded from his pores.
He had broken through to the 7th level, the Marrow Tempering stage, finally becoming a late stage Body Reforging Realm cultivator.
He opened his eyes and smiled, he felt like his whole body was once again bursting with energy, he was one step closer to the Meridian Opening Realm.
In truth, one was only considered a true cultivator after reaching the Meridian Opening Realm. It's just that in backwoods places like the Blackwood Forest, any cultivator was seen as an immortal.
Wu Tianmo grabbed the bottle of Jade Tempering Pills holding one in his hand,
How amazing is alchemy, years of work condensed into a tiny pill. If only I had the ability to create them myself. Too bad my roots are Water and Gold and not Water, Gold, and Fire.
Wu Tianmo sighed, put away the pills and started reflecting on the recent events.
He was progressing quickly but his lack of power overall is troubling. Each of the other patriarchs could squash him like a bug, which would make all his hard work for naught.
I was able to defeat a peak Body Reforging Realm expert with a training sword at the 6th stage. Now that I had broken through to the 7th, could I attempt to fight a tier 2 beast? I have a tier 2 sword and the beasts blood would help me quite a bit....
Ling'er walked towards the training field wearing the Wu Clan's signature red colors,
"Husband"
Wu Tianmo smiled as he looked at her,
She didn't know, but he did. She bore his heir. He felt a powerful bloodline connection to her.
Is this how all parents feel? Can't be... I need to find out more about bloodlines. I know so little about the cultivation world...
"Ling'er, how do you feel?"
Ling'er giggled and walked closer,
"Sore!"
Wu Tianmo raised an eyebrow and shook his head.
Ling'er casually ate one of the fasting pills and started to draw water from a nearby well,
"I can't quite explain it, I feel incredible. As if I have endless energy! Is this what it's like to be married?"
She walked closer with a bucket full of water and a cloth, then paused.
For a brief moment, a faint warmth radiated within her lower abdomen.
Wu Tianmo shook his head no holding up his hand for her to pause,
"I'm glad you're feeling well. However, have the Jiang Clan take care of your daily needs and handle the chores. You no longer need to clean the estate."
Ling'er put the bucket down signaling for one of the Jiang Clan servants to clean the black filth on the ground.
She then rolled her eyes,
"Husband... I was thinking.. Why don't we make a spring here at the private residence? there is plenty of room not being used and there is fire vein that runs right under our estate!"
Wu Tianmo threw her a nearby spade, which she grabbed and started to chase him around with.
It was a blissful moment.
For the first time since the fall of the Wu Clan, he wasn't alone.
To protect this I have to become stronger, for Ling'er and the young ones to come... If I bring them into this world just to die during the beast tide...
This gave Wu Tianmo even more courage to hunt a tier 2 beast, he could use the blood to cultivate, and use the money from selling the body to purchase his clan member that was enslaved.
The only problem was, it was dangerous.
A peak tier two beast killed over 15 cultivators of the other three clans in their initial Silverback Tiger hunt.
One wrong move and his life would end. It would have to be planned, and to be executed carefully.
Wu Tianmo looked at Ling'er's stomach where the connection to him was strongest,
I need to provide my clan a stable way to live, for Ling'er and for my future child. Unfortunately all I know is how to kill...
