Friday morning came. The room where Toffee and Mok lived was in total chaos.
They were fighting because Mok had been in the bathroom for over an hour. Not only that, but Mok was using Toffee's towel!
"Mok! Are you using my towel? You have been in there for hours!" Toffee shouted.
His voice was high and angry. He started kicking the bathroom door with his small legs.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Suddenly, the door opened with a loud sound. Toffee stopped talking immediately. He was shocked.
"Oh! Mok, you are naked! You jerk!" Toffee cried out.
Toffee covered his eyes with his hands, but he kept his fingers open so he could still see.
He looked at Mok's body and thought, "Wow, he really is a muscle addict. Jia was right, his muscles are so strong. Then he shook his head. Toffee, you are so dumb. Stop looking!
Toffee tried to look serious again. "Look at us! Lamon and I have been wearing our university uniforms for two whole hours. Two hours! And you are still not ready!"
Mok took off the towel and threw it at Toffee. "Here is your towel. I don't want it."
"Mok! Now it smells like you! I don't like it!" Toffee yelled. "Give me back my clean towel, you jerk!"
"No," Mok said. He leaned against the wall and flipped his wet hair. Water drops fell from his face. He looked at Toffee and said, "Where else can you see a handsome guy like me?"
Lamon, who was sleeping on the bed while waiting for them, woke up for a second.
He looked at them and said sleepily, "Oh, Mok... it is big." Then he closed his mouth to go back to sleep.
Mok was shocked. "Is it really big, Lamon?"
"Mmm... good work..." Lamon mumbled in his sleep.
Toffee was confused and angry. He grabbed Mok's hair, and Mok grabbed Toffee's hair back. They were stuck like that.
"You let go first!"
"No, you let go first!"
They said this more than twenty times.
Meanwhile, Lamon went back to sleep. To him, their shouting sounded like a peaceful lullaby.
The two chick birds were fighting even worse than kids—oh, kids are better than them!
Lamon was already ready. Even though he didn't have class, he wanted to go with his two chick friends.
Suddenly Toffee yelled, "Mok, Mok... give it to me... that was given by P'Artit... Mok, don't play with me... give it to me!" Toffee's voice was definitely cracking.
"Don't read the letter, you jerk! Mok, give it back! I'm not playing!" Toffee yelled in a panic while Mok teased him, holding the letter just out of reach.
"I am done with you!" Toffee shouted.
Okay, okay! I'll stop!" Mok said, putting the letter back while Toffee pouted.
Both of them were finally tired of fighting.
Then Toffee sat beside Lamon and asked, "Do you want to come with me and P'Artit? P'Artit will come and pick me up, so come with me."
"No, I don't want to... I..." Lamon hesitated.
Suddenly, Mok slowly approached Toffee's ear and screamed, "TOFFEEEEEEE!"
Toffee was shocked and immediately stood up. "You jerk... Mok!" Both of them started running in circles and jumped from the bed.
While at the bar, Artit was already ready to pick up his sweetheart.
He had already freshened up and put on Toffee's favorite perfume, which smelled like lotus. Now, he was ready to go.
May and Kao were still sleeping.
Oat was still asleep too because he drank too much. In the bed, both of May's legs were on top of Kao's body, while Oat's head was on Kao's chest. They were literally suffocating Kao in his sleep, but Kao was still sleeping. Who knows what will happen if he wakes up?
Suddenly, Oat started to make noise as he woke up. Because he drank too much, he growled and grabbed his head like it was exploding.
Oat slowly looked at Kao. With a pained voice, he said, "Oh... why do I have to see him as a first thing in the morning?"
He looked around with blurry eyes, checking if he was seeing an illusion. He saw Artit standing there with an angry face and a cold expression, his arms crossed.
"Oh... Artit, why are you in my room? Also, why is Kao..." Oat pointed at Kao, then he noticed May's legs. "Oh... May is also here?
Why are you guys here?" Oat asked, touching his head because of the pain.
"Oat, you are the one who needs to look. Look where you are," Artit said.
"The room looks different. It is a private room for the four of them, and it looks nothing like Oat's condo. Oat looks confused.
"Oh... why am I here? Don't tell me you guys kidnapped me!" Oat said.
"Kidnap my ass..." Artit snapped.
"Oh, Artit, don't..." Oat groaned.
"You drank too much. Do you even know what you did yesterday? You are a partner of this bar, a half-owner! Where did your image go, Oat?" Artit talked without even taking a single breath. Then, he looked away.
Oat grabbed Artit's hand. "I'm sorry. I wasn't in my right mind," Oat said.
"Mim called me. She will be coming in a few months. Don't forget, she is not like me. Your sister will know everything even if I don't say a word," Artit said in a serious tone.
"I'm going to campus now. I already bought breakfast for everyone. Your clothes are there too, Oat. Freshen up and eat.
Also, Lamon is with Toffee. Don't think too much — talk to him. I don't have many things to say, but Oat... we only realize it after we lose something precious. Don't let it go and regret it later," Artit said.
Artit left to pick up Toffee.
Oat could barely stand up. He walked over to open the large window, then slowly stepped out onto the terrace. He sat down on the couch and looked up at the sky.
Oat sat on the terrace alone. He thought for a long time, and then he began to silently cry.
Toffee and Mok's class ended. Lamon was sitting in the corner of the studio, waiting for them.
"Lamon!" Toffee called out. Lamon stood up and went to them. It was time for their clubs.
Mok and Lamon had joined the Anime Club, while Toffee was in the Music Club.
"Oh, I can't believe it... I will miss Lamon so much!" Toffee said, giving Lamon a sweet hug.
"Then what about me?" Mok asked, waiting for Toffee to say something nice to him too.
Toffee smirked. "Mok, my bestie... missing you and eating green grass are the same thing!"
"You! Toffee, you are getting bold!" Mok shouted.
"Oh, really?" Toffee teased.
Suddenly, Mok's eyes went wide. "Oh, look who is here... it's Toffee's sweet boy!" Mok teased. He was looking at Artit, who was walking in carrying a bag of sweets and drinks for Toffee.
"You jerk, Mok..." Toffee whispered, his voice getting low and shy.
As Artit entered the studio, the other students started whispering and taking photos of him because he looked so good.
Artit walked straight to Toffee and smiled.
"P'... when did you get here?" Toffee asked in a soft, sweet voice.
"Just a few minutes ago, I've been waiting," Artit said. But the truth was, he had been waiting for Toffee since the morning after he dropped him off for class!
Mok turned to Lamon. "Oh, Lamon... our friend is two-faced!"
"Lamon, I'm going now!" Toffee said. Then, he looked at Mok and barked like a small puppy before walking away with Artit toward the Music Club.
Mok shook his head. "Look at this ! I have goosebumps. What a big change!"
Lamon laughed as he watched Toffee and Artit leave for their club. "They are such a perfect match," Lamon said. "Their looks, their height — even their opposite personalities fit together. The more I know P'Artit, the more I see how sincere he really is."
Mok nodded. "That's true. Anyone can fall in love in seconds, but pursuing someone properly without changing your feelings is the hard part. It's like P'Artit knows Toffee is the 'right person.' It's like a fairy tale. Haven't you heard? We are all fated to someone. Nothing can change it. We are already connected to that person by an invisible thread."
"I wonder if that is really real..." Lamon whispered. Then his face clouded over. "But that's not my real worry. It's the Music Club."
"What about the Music Club?" Mok asked.
"P'Jay. Don't you remember him? He's a senior to us, even though he's only a second-year.
He's won so many awards and represents the whole Music Department. His face... I feel like when he was looking Toffee,I've seen that face and expression somewhere before," Lamon said thoughtfully.
"He looks a bit like P'Artit, right?" Mok added. "I think P'Jay probably likes Toffee."
"But I heard rumors that P'Jay isn't constant in his relationships," Lamon said, looking concerned. "He falls in love easily, but he dumps people just as fast. That's why I'm worried."
"You're worried about P'Jay, but I'm worried about Toffee," Mok said. "Toffee really has a hard time handling that kind of atmosphere ."
Mok sighed and stood up. "Well, worrying doesn't do anything. Let's just go and see what happens."
"Yeah, let's go," Lamon agreed.
Both of them then head to the Anime Club.
