Chapter 5 - chapter 5

Heidi, still in Arwa's body, suddenly found herself in a dark, shadowy place. Shapes moved around her, but as she focused, an illusion became clear. She saw many people standing near a graveyard—her father, Alexander Hohenzollern, and her brother, Alex Hohenzollern. Their expressions were cold, their voices sharp with disdain.

"Good riddance," her father muttered. "Finally, she's dead. One disaster less in our house."

Alex nodded grimly. "Yes… good that she took her own life. Otherwise, I would have ended her myself."

Hearing these words, Heidi froze. A chill ran through her body, and tears welled in her eyes. She sank to the ground, crying silently. What is happening to me? How could my own father and brother hate me so much? Her chest ached as despair settled deep within her.

At that moment, in the illusion, her stepmother appeared. Her voice was cold, almost triumphant.

"Yes… you all were right. All her property—the inheritance her mother left behind—will now be ours. Fairyland will be ours."

Heidi's heart pounded. Is this what they truly think of me? Is this the world I've entered? The illusion pressed down on her, heavy and suffocating, and she felt utterly alone in the darkness.

At that moment, her mother entered through the gate. She saw her daughter crying in the dream, her small shoulders trembling, lost in despair. She hurried over, gently stroking Heidi's hair, her voice soft and tender.

"My precious child… wake up, my darling," she whispered, wrapping her in a warm hug.

Heidi, still trapped in the darkness of her dream, felt her mother's presence like a lifeline. The shadows around her seemed to shift, fading slightly, and a new illusion appeared.

This time, she saw Arwa—her own body—smiling and happy with her family, laughing in a world full of warmth. For a brief moment, Heidi's heart lifted. But the vision changed abruptly. She saw a horrifying scene: Arwa caught in a car accident. Heidi's eyes widened, her chest tightening with panic.

"What is happening? What is happening to me… to my life?" she whispered to herself. "A man who could never love me, a man who doesn't even know who I am… he loves me so much, yet I cannot respond. And now… this?"

A familiar voice echoed softly through her dream, warm and comforting.

"My child… my precious one. No matter what, even if your memories do not return right now, I will always love you."

Heidi closed her eyes tightly, letting the words sink in. She whispered to herself, determined,

"I don't care where I am… or what has happened to me. If God has given me a new life, even in someone else's body, then I will live it… I will live someone else's life, fully, as if it were my own."

All of this had happened to me, and slowly, I began to accept it. This woman was truly my mother, I had a father, and a slightly crazy brother who loved his sister more than anything. Over the past few weeks, the doctor—my brother's best friend, and quite handsome—had come almost every day to check on me.

So much had happened in just a few weeks. They tried to help me remember things, but little did they know… I wasn't really Arwa. I was someone else entirely.

Just two or three days after I had woken up, my father had also returned. I could see him crying, showing how much he worried about me, and it touched me deeply.

And now, amidst all this confusion, an important call had come from the university: "It's been a week, and your child hasn't been attending. You may fail your exams."

So, despite everything, I had to prepare myself to go to college… to the university. My new life, in this body, was waiting for me.

By now, you must have seen everything that has happened to me… everything I've been through.

Heidi, who was now in Arwa's body, sat inside the classroom, thinking to herself. This is just like a school… but…

She looked around and noticed something different. Here, many students were being taught by five teachers, taking turns.

In my world, she thought, only one teacher used to come to teach all the subjects.

She frowned slightly, still adjusting to the differences in this new world.

Arwa, who was now living in Heidi's body, stood near the window. Outside, she noticed a small pink bird sitting in its nest, gently feeding its chicks.

She watched them quietly and whispered to herself,

"Lucky you… You can go anywhere you want, whenever you want. You look so happy with your family."

Her smile faded a little.

"And here I am… I cannot even go anywhere. This body is so weak."

Just then, a voice came from behind her.

"Young lady, Lord Duke is calling for you."

Arwa turned around and gave a polite smile.

"Alright. If you don't mind, could you please guide me to the Duke's office?"

"Yes, young lady," the servant replied respectfully.

While walking with the maid through the long hallway, Arwa quietly fell into her thoughts.

It's been quite a few days since I came here, she thought. And today is the first time I'm going to meet the Duke.

She looked ahead calmly as she continued walking.

I wonder what kind of person he is. I really don't know anything about him.

Even so, her face remained calm and composed, hiding the curiosity and nervousness inside her heart.

The maid gently knocked on the large wooden door.

"Your Grace, the young lady has arrived."

A deep voice from inside replied, "Let her in."

The maid slowly opened the door and stepped aside.

"Please go in, young lady."

Arwa took a quiet breath and stepped inside the Duke's office.

The room was large and elegant. Tall windows allowed soft sunlight to enter, and the walls were lined with bookshelves filled with many books and documents. In the center of the room stood a large desk.

Behind the desk sat the Duke.

He looked calm and serious as he read some papers. When he noticed Arwa entering, he slowly lifted his gaze toward her.

Arwa lowered her head politely.

"Good afternoon, Your Grace."

The Duke slowly lifted his eyes from the documents on his desk and looked at Arwa.

His sharp grey eyes studied her quietly, as if trying to understand something hidden.

For a moment, the room became completely silent.

"So… you are here Heidi ," he said calmly

Yes your Grace
