December 1, 1820 – Antarctic Research Center
Years after their first experiments, Xenia and Foxi continued their research in secret.
The leaders of the seven Dhuman civilizations quietly supported their work, but the project remained hidden from the general public. Many still feared timeline experiments.
Inside the Antarctic research center, the scientists unveiled something extraordinary: a new vehicle designed to survive the pressures of time and space.
They called it the Time Car.
Unlike earlier portal tests, this machine could safely transport living travelers between timelines.
After months of careful testing, Xenia climbed into the driver's seat while Foxi monitored the controls beside her.
"Ready?" Foxi asked, eyes scanning the instruments.
Xenia nodded, heart racing.
The Time Car activated. A shimmering portal opened before them, rippling like liquid glass.
Moments later, the vehicle passed through the portal and emerged into another timeline.
What they saw left them breathless.
A massive black hole floated in the distance, twisting light and bending space itself. Around it stood strange, alien beings—the same creatures they had glimpsed through the destroyed camera years before.
The Black Hole People.
This time, the Dhuman scientists were not just observers—they had arrived in person.
One of the thin, pale-skinned beings approached calmly. Its enormous white eyes were marked with intricate red patterns, glowing faintly.
It raised a hand in greeting.
"Hello," it said. "Who are you?"
Xenia and Foxi exchanged a stunned glance.
They introduced themselves, explaining they came from another timeline. The being listened intently.
Slowly, the scientists realized something extraordinary: the Black Hole People could sense the nature of a person's mind. They could feel intentions.
Because Xenia and Foxi came from a peaceful civilization, the aliens welcomed them instead of attacking.
After sharing knowledge and learning from one another, Xenia and Foxi returned to their Time Car. The portal reactivated, carrying them safely back to their own timeline.
As the Antarctic research center came into view, both scientists knew something profound:
The universe contained far more than just alternate Earths. Entire civilizations thrived in places Dhuman had never imagined.
And this discovery was only the beginning.
To be continued…
