Chapter 10 - I'M NOT A BEAST

Jay Jay's pov

"Why don't you understand that she doesn't like you?" Blaster snapped, his voice sharp and shaking. "She's with you because she's scared of you. You scare people."

"I don't scare people," Keigan shot back. His jaw was tight, eyes dark. "And you don't get to decide whether she loves me or not."

"Then ask her," Blaster said, pointing toward Elixera. "If you don't believe me, just ask her."

"I don't need to," Keigan said, stepping closer, shoving Blaster's shoulder. "She became my girlfriend on her own. You're the one creating problems."

"And this is your problem," Blaster shoved him back, harder this time. "You behave like a beast,a monster. You scare people and never let them talk."

"I am not a beast." Keigan growled.

By now, Section E had noticed.

"You are," Blaster said, voice breaking. "And Elixera doesn't love you. She's with you because you're a beast. You won't let us be together. A Watson always becomes a beast."

"I am not!" Keigan screamed.

"I..am nott!"

And then he snapped.

He lunged at Blaster, hitting him wildly. Blaster fought back. It was chaos.

"Stop!" I yelled, rushing toward them, but neither of them listened.

Section E tried to pull them apart. Elixera was crying now, begging them to stop.

That's when Keifer's call ended.

He turned and his eyes widened.

"Keigan!" he shouted, running forward, grabbing him from behind. "Keigan, stop!"

Keigan shook him off, rage completely taking over.

"KEIGAN!" Keifer yelled again.

Nothing worked.

Section e was calling blaster saying him to stop but he didn't.elixera was sobbing and trying to tell them to stop.

keifer pulled keigan. He grabbed Blaster by the collar and punched him hard, knocking him back.

"Keifer!" Section E shouted. And keigan was vanished.

Blaster stumbled but swung back, hitting Keifer in the jaw. Keifer wiped the blood from his lip and hit him again.

"STOP IT!" I screamed.

But he wasn't listening.

That's why I grabbed his arms.

"Stop" I yelled

"Stop fighting.Fighting will not help"And he finally release blaster from his hand.

"Where's Keigan?" Keifer asked urgently, breathing hard.

"He ran inside," I said.

Keifer muttered something under his breath and turned to me. "Come with me."

He grabbed my hand and ran.

We rushed into the house, up the stairs, straight to the second floor. He stopped in front of a door.

"Keigan," he called, knocking. "Open the door."

Silence.

"Keigan, open it."

Nothing.

He turned to me. "Jay."

"Yes?" I said.

"What happened while I was on the call?"

I took a breath. "Blaster told him Elixera doesn't love him. That she's scared of him. He said keigan is a monster, beast and he act like a beast. After listening those things keigan hit blaster and they start fighting. Everyone tried to stop them... but it didn't work."

"Fuck." he murmured. "How dare he say something like that."

He turned to me again. "Jay, you should go home. My driver will drop you. I'll handle this."

"I'm not going anywhere," I said firmly. "I should've stopped them earlier. I'm staying."

"Jay, don't be stubborn. This isn't your fault."

"No means no," I said, crossing my arms.

He looked at me for a second... then sighed. "Fine."

He knocked again. Harder.

"Keigan. Open. The. Door."

Still nothing.

Something shifted in Keifer's expression fear creeping in.

"Step back, Jay," he said quietly.

Before I could say anything, he stepped back and slammed his shoulder into the door.

Once.

Twice.

On the third hit, the lock broke and the door flew open.

"Keigan—"

The room was a mess. Things overturned. Keigan was there, curled in a corner,a broken vase in his hand. breathing heavily, eyes red, looking completely lost, shaking, breathing unevenly.

Things thrown everywhere.

"Keigan," Keifer called, stepping closer.

"DON'T come near me!" Keigan screamed suddenly.

He grabbed whatever was closest and threw it at the wall. It shattered loudly.

"I'm a monster!" he yelled, pulling at his hair. "I'm a beast!"

"Keigan..." Keifer started.

"No! No, no, no!" Keigan shouted, backing away, breathing wildly.

"I'm not a beast. I'm not like him. Every Watson doesn't become a beast—doesn't!"

He pulled his hair harder now, tears streaming down his face, eyes blood-red, unfocused. Another object flew across the room, hitting the floor with a loud crash.

"KEIGAN!" Keifer raised his voice not angry, but sharp.

Keigan tried to throw something again.

That's when Keifer moved.

He grabbed Keigan's arms and pulled him into a tight hold, stopping his movements completely.

"LET GO!" Keigan screamed, struggling violently.

"No," Keifer said firmly, holding him steady. "I won't."

Keigan fought him, shaking, trying to break free.

Keifer tightened his grip not hurting, not gentle controlled.

"You're not him," Keifer said sharply, right against his ear.

"You hear me? You're not like our father."

Keigan froze for half a second.

"You don't scare people," Keifer continued, voice strong and unshaking.

"You're not a monster. You're not a beast."

Keigan's struggle weakened.

Keigan's hands slowly unclenched.

His body went slack, shaking turning into quiet sobs.

Keifer didn't release him.

He kept holding him there, solid and unmoving, until Keigan finally stopped fighting.

The room was silent.

And suddenly i notice something.

"Keifer... your hand."

He looked down like it was nothing.

But it wasn't nothing.

His hand was covered in cuts and scars, small and deep ones, blood seeping out slowly. Tiny broken pieces of wood were still stuck in his skin like sharp pins from the door he'd smashed open.

My stomach twisted.

"You're bleeding," I said quickly. "You need to treat that."

"I'm fine," he said immediately, pulling his hand back.

"No, you're not," I snapped without thinking. "You're literally bleeding."

 "I'm fine,Jay"

Before I could argue again, Keigan spoke his voice calmer now, almost normal.

"Kuya... do it."

Keifer looked at him in surprise.

"I'm okay," Keifer said, trying to brush it off. "I need to stay here with you."

"I said I'm okay," Keigan repeated, firmer. "Go."

Keifer hesitated, then looked at me.

"I'll stay," I said quietly. "I'm not going anywhere."

He sighed, defeated.

"Fine," he muttered, finally turning toward the door. "Keigan, don't move."

He left the room.

The moment he was gone, the air changed.

I suddenly remembered the glue incident.I'm still scared of keigan for that incident.

My chest tightened.

I stayed still, not trusting myself to move.

Keigan sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the floor. For a few moments, he spoke like everything was normal.

"You always talk too much," he said flatly.

"You should've shouted more loudly."

That... surprised me.

I almost smiled.

Then he looked up.

And just like that, the shift happened.

"Your friend stole my girlfriend."

My heart dropped.

"Keigan, it's not like tha—"

"Don't refuse," he cut me off sharply. He was not talking normally.Something was weird. "He did."

"Keiga—"

"Don't say my name."

"Kei—"

"I said no," he snapped, standing up. "Why don't you just leave our lives? You're destroying everything."

My chest felt tight.

"You're destroying Kuya's relationship with us," he continued, voice cold. "Because of you, Kuya doesn't care about us."

"Keigan!"

Keifer's voice echoed from the doorway.

I hadn't even noticed him come back.

He stepped inside, his hand wrapped roughly with cloth.

"Keigan," he said, softer now. "I care about you. I care about Keiran. She's not destroying anything."

"She is," Keigan said again, stubborn.

"Keigan, stop," Keifer warned. "Don't say things like that about—"

"I should go," I said suddenly.

Both of them looked at me.

"Jay—" Keifer started.

"It's getting late," I said, forcing my voice steady.

Keifer hesitated. "Okay... but my driver will drop you."

"I can go by myself," I replied quickly. "You don't need to be bothered."

"Jay, it's not safe for you," he said firmly. "Please don't argue."

I sighed.

"...Okay."

I followed him out of the room, my heart heavy.

Because even though everything looked calm again

I knew this wasn't over.
