Chapter 8: Boarding the Astral Express
Listening to Herta's words, Xuan Yong merely smiled. After all, who could say for sure whether the three worlds could be interconnected?
"Alright, I've stayed here long enough. I have things to do, so I won't play with you all any longer!" Xuan Yong had no desire to remain in the Herta Space Station. He stood up directly, intending to depart.
Seeing Xuan Yong rise to leave, Herta did not dare to say anything. After all, the person before her was the Aeon of Destiny—Xuan Yong. She was but a mere Emanator and had no right to demand anything of him.
"Oh, beautiful lady, I wish to board the Astral Express. I wonder if you agree? The first option is 'yes,' the second option is 'no problem,' and the third option is 'of course!'" After walking out of Herta's office, Xuan Yong quickly found Himeko and the others who were still at the station. He stepped forward with a smile and inquired.
Hearing Xuan Yong's words, Himeko and the others were first stunned by the first half of the sentence, and then their mouths twitched uncontrollably upon hearing the second half.
Was this even a question? It was a blatant demand for their consent. However, they didn't dare say anything; after all, the person before them was the Aeon of Destiny.
"Of course, no problem. If the Aeon of Destiny—Lord Xuan Yong wishes to board the Astral Express, it is an honor for all of us!" Although Himeko was somewhat speechless at Xuan Yong's manner of asking, she nonetheless nodded hurriedly with a smile.
