It started at a regular day in class as during lunch, they were all eating their usual meals in the cafeteria. Poller was enjoying a salmon eating the brain of a salmon, then skin and the whole remaining salmon in that order, Aoi was having something sweet like fruit and honey, Sachi was eating curry, Blaze was eating a large plate of protein because of his body heat quirk requiring calories. While everyone had their meals they looked over and saw Whirl was eating two plates of large portions of food, they were shocked.
Whirl noticed their shocked expression "for a short clarification my quirk requires energy to function, that includes the amount I eat. Like Cainza my quirk requires fuel"
Blaze smirks "so I got myself an eating buddy"
Aoi sighed "should have known, I saw you eat as much when we first met"
"That as well Aoi" Whirl continued to eat her meals.
But then Whirl noticed that Euro is sitting near Astral as she is showing him more of the photos she got of his family as there were more when Astral showed the photos to Euro the last time he saw them. "I'm still shocked you got more than last time?"
"Its really easy to know their usual routine for the perfect photo. I even got new photos of the newer heroes like Mt Lady, and Kamui Woods"
"You sure don't miss the chance"
Astral chuckled "someone has to be there to capture the latest photos"
Then Whirl scoot over to their seat as they noticed she was also staring at Astral photos "oh Whirl were you also interested"
"My attention was given when you opened your albums to heroes, why do you do this?"
"I do it because it gives many heroes their images, not to mention I just do it for fun" she smiled.
But Euro then whispered over to Whirl "don't forget she also created magazines that showed many heroes"
Whirl was surprised "interesting at such a young age, no doubt you have gotten money from your photos making you able to acquire more film for more photos"
Astral laughed and scratched the back of her head "that's one way to put it, and for the lighting and flashing that was just my quirk applying it to my camera"
"Interesting like Goshi's quirk, you can also amplify with your camera" Whirl looked more into Astral's album as she sees many photos in her album as where they stopped they were looking at Euro's family of heroes.
"I suspect that these heroes are your family, Euro"
Euro nodded "yes, and yet somehow Astral has more of them"
"Like I said, I have my ways"
"So the photos are of your family?"
Euro nodded "that's right, and I'm not the only one as there are some who are from a generations of heroes like the turbo hero: Ingenium"
Then others started to walk in as some of the talk wasn't about some of their family members being heroes. It was about their talks about their family in general about how many are in their family or what their parents were doing. Blaze's father is a special gym instructor and sometimes brings him and his brother to come to the gym and train their bodies. Senda explains about his twin sister and how much she annoys him and tries to make him late for every class, but he feels she has stopped to somewhat of a degree with Whirl's presence. Some talked about their parents and where they worked, but some didn't talk about their family. Everyone except Whirl knew about Doc Doc's past, and another none of them knew as Uni and Poller surprisingly kept their families to themselves, though they do respect each other's privacy and do not encourage anyone to share if they don't want to.
But Aoi looked at Whirl as her face was obviously filled with curiosity "so Whirl what about your family, how are they"
Whirl was hesitant to speak, but she figured that it could be a figure of trust between her and her classmates. "Well it's hard to explain but my father is with me and he trains me on the daily, hoping to prepare myself to go into a place like UA."
"So your father trains you, like everything you need to know?"
Whirl nodded "in conclusion my father taught me discipline, understanding, how to observe, and how to control my quirk to an understanding as to not 'cause a storm' which I am thoughtful I was able to learn before coming to UA"
Goshi crosses his arms "that is understandable, if there isn't control or discipline then a powerful quirk without restraint becomes dangerous"
Fennal sighs "your one to talk, with that technique you use plus your quirk it's basically you stepping over us in power"
But then Uni asked Whirl one more question "okay I know this may be rude, but what about your mother?"
Whirl looked at Uni "I beg your pardon"
Uni cleared her throat "my bad, let me rephrase it again. Since you talked about your father and how you were trained under his wing, what about your mother has she also taken care of you?"
That question also made Whirl hesitate even longer as for a long time since her development it was only her father's quirk that was able to give her life from the core where she was able to be given sentience. She tried to speak out an answer to the others, but the thought about having a mother made her question herself as no 'mother' she has ever met helped her in her development; it was only her father and uncle who developed her.
When Whirl was struggling to explain about her 'mother' but couldn't, the others took it as a sign that her 'mother' had already passed away, presumably when Whirl was at a young age.
Aoi stops her "hey Whirl if the question is having a hard time on you. You don't have to answer every question"
Whirl took a deep breath and looked at Aoi "thank you Aoi" then she looked at her class as their expression where filled with understandings about her situation "and thank you for understand the circumstance that has been put on me"
They all understood about what happened to Whirl's 'mother', however it was too perfect for Whirl as she was able to sway away from suspicion away from the others. But that didn't stop two individuals as Reiko was always observing Whirl whenever she got the chance, while Goshi looked at Whirl still trying to investigate his thoughts about what he felt when he touched Whirl's hand.
Later when school ended, Whirl waved goodbye to the others for now as Whirl moved secretly using a special route that alternates all the time everyday when Whirl finishes her time in UA. Far from the town and far from UA itself, Whirl then brought herself into a hideout that was in a building with an obvious sign that only Whirl can see by the wind. Inside she sees her father sitting and working on his gauntlets "hello Ku- father… hello father is uncle Morilo still out on his job" her father looked back to see Whirl back from school.
He nodded "yeah he's still out there, anyways what did you observe Whirl"
Whirl cleared her current "I have learned that my classmates have family who are heroes, who are workers, and who are here to take care of their family" The Wind Specter nodded, but Whirl was hesitant to speak another answer as he noticed. "If you're having trouble speaking what you think, then clear your mind before speaking to me"
Whirl took a deep breath "father, were you aware that when my creation began, was I also going to have a 'mother' by my side?"
Her father stopped for a moment "you were going to have one, but it wasn't going to be that simple as having two guardians would be trouble and dangerous. It was better to have one to lower suspicion when being a suspected"
"I see, it was to prevent further attention to have one guardian then two"
Her father nodded "now you may rest, you have a big day for coming up for you"
"I understand, good night father" Whirl walked and headed to her room as there was no one who could know what she was doing or what she did. In her room there was no bed, but a pedestal she dropped her bag and laid her clothes in the drawer as she placed her core onto the pedestal letting her form disperse and letting core rest onto the pedestal as she powered down for the night ready to come what is next for her core.
