"Alright, class," Ms. Linying said quietly, her voice cutting through the silence. "You have three minutes to complete the quiz. Remember to show your work." as shut up
The students nodded, their eyes glued to their papers. Among them were the Liu twins, Liu Liyung and Liu Xiaoxiao, who exchanged glances filled with determination.
"Ready, Liyung?" Xiaoxiao whispered, her pencil tapping nervously against her desk.
"Of course! Just focus on the questions," Liyung replied, her brow furrowed in concentration. "We can do this!"
Across the room, a boy named Xia Yue was scribbling furiously, his brow furrowed in concentration. He was known for his quick thinking and sharp mind, but today, he felt the pressure of the ticking clock.
"Hey, Xia Yue!" Liyung called out softly, trying not to disturb Ms. Linying. "What's the answer to question two?"
Xia Yue glanced up, his eyes wide. "I think it's 24, but I'm not sure! Double-check your calculations!"
"Thanks!" Liyung said, quickly jotting down the answer.
Xiaoxiao leaned closer to her sister. "Do you think we'll get a chance to battle our Digimon after this? I've been itching to train with my Agumon!"
"Definitely! But let's focus on this quiz first," Liyung replied, biting her lip as she tackled the last question.
As the minutes ticked away, the classroom remained eerily quiet, save for the sound of pencils scratching against paper. Ms. Linying watched over them, her eyes scanning the room, ensuring everyone was on task.
Suddenly, the classroom door swung open, and a gust of wind rushed in, causing papers to flutter. A tall figure stepped inside, his presence commanding attention. It was Mr. Chen, the school's principal, with a serious expression on his face.
"Ms. Linying, may I have a word?" he said, his voice low but firm.
"Of course, Mr. Chen," she replied, stepping out into the hallway. The students exchanged curious glances, their concentration momentarily broken.
"Do you think something's wrong?" Xia Yue whispered, glancing at the door.
