6:40 PM, Kuala Lumpur City
The sun dipped low in the sky, casting a warm glow over the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur. Ni Qiao Qiao, a bright-eyed 13-year-old girl, stood at the train station, her heart racing with anticipation. She clutched her phone tightly, glancing at the screen every few seconds.
"Come on, come on," she muttered under her breath, her mind racing with thoughts of her older sister, Mei Ling, who was supposed to call her any minute now.
Just then, her phone buzzed. It was a message from Mei Ling: "Hey, Qiao Qiao! I'll be home by 7:20 PM. Can't wait to see you!"
"Finally!" Qiao Qiao exclaimed, a smile breaking across her face. She loved her sister dearly, and their time together was always filled with laughter and adventure.
As she waited for the train, her thoughts drifted to her friends back in Penang. She missed them dearly, especially the four Muslim students she had met during her summer visit.

"Aduma, are you ready?" Qiao Qiao had asked, her voice filled with excitement.
"Ready as I'll ever be!" Aduma Ali replied, his partner, Alifmon, a small, dragon-like Digimon, perched on his shoulder.
Asuda Ied, a tall boy with a mischievous grin, chimed in, "Let's see who can catch the most Digimon today!"
Sumara, the only girl in the group, rolled her eyes playfully. "You boys and your competitions. Just remember, it's not about winning; it's about having fun!"
Madonna Ari, their classmate, laughed. "You're all going to lose to me! I've been training with my Digimon all week!"
Back to Kuala Lumpur
The train arrived with a whoosh, and Qiao Qiao hopped on, her mind still lingering on her friends. She missed the thrill of battling Digimon and the camaraderie they shared.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed again. It was a video call from Mei Ling.
"Hey, little sis!" Mei Ling's face appeared on the screen, her smile brightening Qiao Qiao's day. "How's everything?"
"I'm good! Just waiting for the train to take me home. I can't wait to tell you about my summer!"
"Make sure to save some stories for dinner. I want to hear all about your adventures!" Mei Ling said, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Of course! But first, I need to tell you about Aduma and his Alifmon. They're amazing!" Qiao Qiao gushed, her excitement bubbling over.
As they chatted, the train rattled along the tracks, and Qiao Qiao felt a sense of warmth and belonging. But just as she was about to share her favorite battle story, the train screeched to a halt.
"What's happening?" Qiao Qiao asked, her heart racing.
"Looks like there's a delay," Mei Ling replied, concern etched on her face. "Stay safe, okay?"
"Yeah, I will!" Qiao Qiao assured her, but deep down, she felt a twinge of unease.
Suddenly, the lights flickered, and an announcement blared through the speakers: "Attention passengers, we are experiencing a security situation. Please remain calm and stay in your seats."
Qiao Qiao's heart dropped. "Mei Ling, I have to go. Something's wrong!"
"Stay on the line, Qiao Qiao! I'm here," Mei Ling urged, her voice steady despite the chaos around them.
As Qiao Qiao looked around, she noticed a group of three boys in the corner, their expressions tense. They were dressed in casual clothes, but there was something about them that felt off.
"Aduma?" one of the boys whispered, glancing nervously at his friends.
"Yeah, it's me," Aduma replied, his voice low. "We need to figure out what's going on."
"Do you think it's related to the Digimon?" Asuda asked, his eyes darting around the train.
"Maybe," Sumara said, her voice barely above a whisper. "We should stick together."
Qiao Qiao's heart raced as she realized that her friends were in danger. "Mei Ling, I have to go. I'll call you back!"
"Qiao Qiao, wait—" Mei Ling started, but the call dropped as Qiao Qiao rushed toward the boys.
"Are you guys okay?" she asked, her voice steady despite the fear bubbling inside her.
Aduma nodded, his expression serious. "We need to find a way out of here. There's something happening, and it's not safe."
"Let's use our Digimon!" Qiao Qiao suggested, her determination igniting. "We can fight together!"
"Right!" Aduma agreed, summoning Alifmon. "Let's do this!"
As the train lights flickered ominously, Qiao Qiao felt a surge of courage. With her friends by her side, she was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
"Together!" they shouted in unison, their voices echoing through the train as they prepared for the battle of their lives.
