Chapter 5 - Heavenly Realm!!!!

Yun Ting laughed lightly and looked at Zhu Yang. "Little Zhu Yang, why do you hate the devils so much? Is it simply because they are bold and lawless?"

He paused briefly before continuing, "Do not forget—if not for those unruly being's God Ancestor, Chaos would have already destroyed our world."

Yun Ting said this mainly to ease the environment and stop both the Divine Emperor and Zhu Yang from doing something rash. As everyone knew, Zhu Yang could suddenly try to kill Yuan again once the situation calmed down, and the Divine Emperor might also take action against Zhu Yang. However, Yun Ting's real motive was to probe the Divine Emperor because of his earlier statement.

Tianxun had said earlier, "I myself hate the devils."

Zhu Yang did not react with shame or rebuke after hearing Yun Ting's words. Instead, she turned her gaze toward Xuanlu, expecting him to say something in her favor since he also hated devils. But there was no response from him. When he noticed Zhu Yang's gaze, he made brief eye contact and then shifted his gaze toward Yuan.

In a low voice he muttered, "Even if this little guy is a devil, he is still just a mortal… what a disgrace to his father and ancestors."

His thought was completely opposite to how the two God Emperors had assessed the boy earlier.

Xuanlu's hatred toward devils was not because of their unruly behavior or lawless nature. It was simply because they were inherently strong beings.

While all this was happening, Tianxun and Yun Ting quietly looked toward each other. Soon they began descending toward Yuan. As they moved, Zhu Zhe matched their footsteps, and the other two followed behind.

They slowly descended from the sky and landed on the ground in front of Yuan. The two God Emperors stood calmly, their presence heavy even though they did not release any aura. The ground beneath their feet trembled slightly as they touched down. Zhu Zhe quickly moved to Yuan's side, standing protectively beside him, while Zhu Yang and Xuanlu landed a few steps behind the two God Emperors, silently observing the scene.

Zhu Zhe gently placed her hand on Yuan's head and said, "This is the guest I was talking about. And don't mind your aunt, she was just trying to tease you."

Yuan did not react to her words. Instead, he calmly bowed and greeted everyone. First he looked toward Yun Ting and said, "Greetings, Grandpa Liquor Lion." Then he turned toward Xuanlu and greeted him respectfully by his title. After that he looked at Zhu Yang and said, "Greetings, Senior Martial Aunt."

But when his gaze fell on Tianxun, he did not greet him like the others. Instead, he asked directly, "What is this Heavenly Realm you spoke about? And what is the difference between the Heavenly Court and the Heavenly Realm? Who are you, senior, and what connection do you have with me?"

Although Tianxun was not surprised by the questions, being asked such things by a child still put him in a difficult position. What Yuan had asked was considered a godly secret. Even mortal children born in immortal families were not told such truths until they reached the Ascension Realm.

So instead of explaining everything, Tianxun answered simply. "Just as your universe is called the Myriad Realm, my universe is called the Heavenly Realm. The difference is that the Heavenly Realm is a higher-level universe than yours. We rule over lower-level universes by establishing Heavenly Courts and supporting their rulers to become God Emperors, who in turn become our allies."

Then he looked at Yuan and spoke with calm pride.

"As for who I am… I am the 31st Generations Divine Emperor, one of the God Emperors of the Heavenly Realm."

After a brief pause he added,

"And you… are my nephew."

"My sister's son."

Yuan stood there quietly. After hearing Tianxun's words, there was no change in his expression and his body did not move at all, as if he had not even heard what was said.

"This guy is really a waste. He can't even give a proper reaction in such a serious situation."

But the truth was that Yuan was so shocked that his mind had gone blank for a moment.

Seeing him standing there like that, Zhu Zhe felt a little worried. She then transmitted her voice into Yuan's mind.

"Yuan, I know this is hard for you to accept so suddenly. You can take your time."

After listening to his master's words, Yuan slowly came back to his senses. He first gave a glance to Zhu Zhe and then looked toward Tianxun with a hard stare, as if the others around them did not even exist.

But in Yuan's mind, the more he looked at his uncle, the more uneasy he felt. Tianxun did not give him a warm or comforting presence. Instead, his presence only brought a strange fear into Yuan's heart.

Even under such pressure, Yuan tried to calm himself. After a moment, he spoke in a very low tone.

"Then… who are my parents?"

His voice was so low that even Tianxun would not have heard it if he were a mortal.

His tone clearly carried a distant feeling toward the uncle he had just met. But from Yuan's perspective, that tone was natural. He felt that if his uncle truly heard the question, he might become furious and try to kill him.

And if that really happened, Yuan believed no one here could save him… not even Yun Ting.

For a good while there was silence. No one spoke and the atmosphere became heavy. Time slowly passed and Yuan stood there quietly.

Seeing this, one might think Yuan was getting stressed under the pressure.

"Hey man, could you stop exaggerating things? I am not stressed. You trash mortals always imagine things. Believe me, I am not stressed. I am not even afraid of this Divine Emperor guy. It's just that I suddenly jumped to the top of the hierarchy. Now even my master is not powerful enough compared to my position. I am actually thrilled with joy. I asked that in a low tone because I wanted to know whether my parents have some status or not. I have seen many cases in my domain where illegitimate children are not given equal status and even get bullied. That's why I am a little nervous."

But outside, Yuan still stood there silently, his expression unchanged as the silence continued.
