Katakuri slammed one hand against the ground.
The earth and the surrounding buildings instantly transformed into mochi, giving the Whitebeard Pirates an easy opportunity to charge into the harbor.

Because of the cooperation between the Thunder God Pirates and Dragon, Sabo had learned about Ace and recovered his memories.
He had therefore joined Luffy and Ivankov in breaking into the great underwater prison before coming to this battlefield at Marineford.
After Luffy and the others arrived, the entire battlefield of the Summit War fell silent for several seconds.
"Garp, you bastard! It's another member of your family!"
After recovering from his surprise, Sengoku turned toward Garp with gritted teeth.
Garp himself was staring with his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide.
He had never imagined that Luffy would charge into the battlefield at Marine Headquarters at a time like this!
"So this is... Marine Headquarters."
Luffy stared directly at the execution platform on the raised structure.
Zoro stood beside him, gripping his swords as he looked up at the platform.
"Hey, Luffy. Your brother is up there, right?"
"Phew. This place is filled with monsters."
Sanji lit a cigarette and took a drag.
Although he deliberately spoke in a relaxed manner, the pressure weighing upon him was actually immense.
On this battlefield, even the Seven Warlords of the Sea could not be considered the main powers.
The Marine admirals, Whitebeard, and the others at their level were the true apex combatants of this war!
"Are you scared?"
Zoro asked without turning his head.
Sanji immediately became furious.
"You're the one who's scared, you idiot moss-head!"

"He's my grandpa! So what? Get out of the way, old man! I need to hurry and save Ace!"
"He's your grandfather? Garp is your grandfather?! Hohohoho! Excellent! Then I'll collect some interest from Garp through you first!"
"Take this—Non-Drill Dragon, Non-Drill Nail!"
As Chinjao began fighting Luffy and the other two, four figures stood silently in a secluded corner of the harbor.
"As expected, Luffy came after all."
"So that's Garp's grandson? He certainly has plenty of energy."
Standing to Rayleigh's left, Scopper Gaban smoked a cigarette as he spoke with a smile.
"Hohohoho! No matter what else may be true, he came here to save Ace. Should we help him?"
Master Nekomamushi rested his enormous smoking pipe on his shoulder and pointed toward Luffy, who had just been sent flying by one of Chinjao's headbutts.
Duke Inuarashi drew his sword and leaped forward.
"Then naturally, we should give him a hand!"
The moment Duke Inuarashi jumped into the battlefield, Master Nekomamushi followed closely behind him.
Rayleigh and Gaban also leaped into the battle.
"Could that man possibly be... Dark King Rayleigh?!"
"Roger's vice-captain—the Pirate King's left hand?! Did he come after learning Fire Fist Ace's true identity?!"
"And that's the Pirate King's right hand, Scopper Gaban! Why are there two animals with them?!"
"What are you afraid of? Even if they once sailed aboard the Roger Pirates' ship, there are only two of them!"
"Kill them!!"
The group of Impel Down prisoners brought by Luffy, as well as Crocodile and the others, were all formidable fighters.
Their arrival immediately began affecting the battlefield considerably.
With Rayleigh's group joining the conflict as well, the Marines, who had originally held an overwhelming advantage, found their offensive obstructed.

The foolish man suddenly drew his massive blade and thrust it directly into Whitebeard's chest!
