Ashley nearly choked when she caught sight of the blinding light barreling closer and closer from her side.
Her lips parted as she cursed Rum with all her heart. She had told him to go all out, but nowhere in those instructions had she asked him to kill her!
"Fucking Rum," she hissed, keeping her eyes on the road. "I'm going to kill him."
Also, where the hell had he come from?
As far as everyone knew, Rum had been at the back, wreaking havoc on every car pursuing them.
"Lu," she called as the light beside her grew brighter, already planting her feet on the motorcycle's seat.
Before she could say anything more, Lucian spoke.
"I'll catch you."

The blare of the truck's horn grew louder as it hurtled straight toward her, accompanied by Rum's curses exploding through their earpieces.
