Back in the mansion, Nolan paced back and forth while Primo sat on the couch. Betty, on the other hand, stood nearby with a conflicted expression.
The young master simply watched Nolan, his eyes sliding from left to right as he tracked the butler's movements. When Primo felt slightly dizzy, he shook his head and picked up his drawing board.
[Nolan, you should sit down.]
Nolan paused in his tracks and read the letters. Even Betty glanced at it before nodding.
"The young master is right, Head Butler," Betty remarked in agreement. "If the madam said she's going to take them back, I think… she would."
"But she might not reach them in time," Nolan replied worriedly. "Unless she drives fast—really fast—the chances are low."
Little did he know, the guards with her were currently screaming their heads off at how fast she was maneuvering the car.
For Nolan, it was best for Lucian to stay and reconcile with Ashley.
